During a visit to the Iowa State Fair on Saturday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump -- while repeatedly describing her as nice woman -- took aim at his GOP rival, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, attacking her record in the private sector and her failed California Senate bid.
She's a very nice woman, she got fired, she did a terrible job at Hewlett-Packard, she lost in a landslide -- other than that, she's a very nice woman, Trump, echoing recent comments, told ABC News Martha Raddatz when asked for his thoughts on his solo female GOP competitor for the nomination.

Did she ever file bankruptcy?
If not, shut the front unit.
That. Thank you.
JUST TO BE FAIR ON THAT LEVEL, if she did that good at HP it would have first gone bankrupt then it would have multiplied its assets several hundred fold... got to look at the whole story...
She didn’t but what about the 18,000.00 employees she fired????
I don’t like Trump. But he’s right on this one. Fiorina was terrible at HP, ruined a venerable and respected company.
The disastrous Compaq takeover.
Nah, she just laid off tens of thousands of people and ran a failed campaign in California. No big deal, she's loaded with success stories. /sarc
She was hired to be a hatchet man (or woman, in this case). And that’s what she did, because HP was completely dysfunctional and had massive numbers of utterly unproductive people they were carrying. So naturally she’s hated.
But the company is now profitable.
Expect the same thing if she’s the candidate and gets elected. Massive reductions of federal staff, lots of union howling - but a better operation in the end.
“Did she ever file bankruptcy?”
It’s not the bankruptcy that counts. It’s the RECOVERY from bankruptcy that counts. My uncle declared bankruptcy and took him years to rebuild his wealth. Real men do this instead of wallowing in your despair.
and don’t make me defend Trump again. I;m still on the fence on him..
Well, if the boot fits...
lol
Merger casualties. Trump did the same thing in bankruptcies. It trickled down to all the trades people, general contractors, furnishings suppliers, etc.....Lost homes, lost jobs, lost spouses, etc....
If I am a baking company and I purchase the other competitive baking company in my market, I do not need two supply chain, distribution , accounting, legal, or administrative systems in place.
Study SAP software sometime.
Yes, he did. Four rimes as a matter of fact.
What separates Trump from Fiorina, is that Trump kept fighting for his company, picked up the pieces, and started over.
Fiorina ran HP into the ground, and more than likely was paid to do that deliberately, as an excuse to offshore and outsource as much as possible. People don’t realize just how powerful the chinese labor lobby is in the US, and just how many shareholders bankroll them.
There are of capitalists that went broke and filed for bankruptcy before finally hitting it big.
I will not hold that against Trump.
Now compare that to the ongoing mistakes that politicians make every day that have cost this country dearly.
Did Trump? No. So shut your front unit.
But on her way up from secretary to incompetent CEO, she says she encountered a lot of male chauvinism, which qualifies her as a war on women expert.
Why is Trump running down all the other candidates like this? Why make enemies of those who could help you in the long run?
Aahhh... The company turned around after she was fired and new leadership was brought in.
Despite what Trump says about her methinks Carly no Farina is just not presidential material. She talks a good game but can’t deliver the goods. Maybe she could be IRS commisioner or Dept of No Commerce.
