Glenn Beck: Why Do Conservative Pundits Support Trump?
Glenn Beck wants to stage a conservative intervention. The former Fox News host and prominent conservative commentator is confounded that so many Republican voters are attracted to Donald Trump. And Beck is particularly bewildered by the conservative pundits who are hooked on the bombastic real estate mogul. "Why are big name 'conservatives' supporting him?" Beck asked wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday. Beck went on to name names, calling out some of Trump's biggest boosters in conservative media: Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage.
"I am not talking about the average Joe, I am talking about Sean Hannity or Ann Colter (sic). How about Savage or Rush?" Beck wrote. "These are smart people. What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now."

No, you made clear the Christian part.
I don’t understand why you are upset?
All I pointed out is he foolishly aligned himself with a dipshit.
You certainly type a lot of words.
Brevity is the soul of wit.
Yeah, that’s what I said when Cruz’s actions were pointed out.
What!?
One other thing, if it was Christian to do it back in July, was it Christian to quit doing it?
Sounds like their actions are unchristian now.
Guess this will probably end the back and forth, huh?
Because we can't envision any of the others saying "Make America Great Again".
Because we think the others either a) don't believe it; or b) would be embarrassed to say it.
As for progressive taxation Trump seems open to the fair tax and flat tax concepts but prefers simplification as a first step reform. The current system is too damn complicated. I should not have to use a piece of computer software to figure out my taxes. Even then I’m not 100% sure my return is totally correct or truly minimizes my tax bill.
Cruz is certainly more conservative. But if Trump can build the wall, bring jobs back, strengthen the military, take out ISIS, and reduce or stop the growth of the debt, then I can give him a pass on a few non deal breaker issues I don’t agree with him on. I need to study where he is on the 2nd Amendment.
Held my nose and vote for McCain and Romney. Attention RNC: I will not vote GOPe this time and I live in a purple state.
You talk a big game,
Thanks, really i just say what’s on my mind. I am sure you have noticed that words online may appear bigger than they actually are.
Anyhow, I am simply pointing out that all these people who have been around for decades? and what have WE acheived overall??? (yep,<3 ?)
We can’t elect a President. We vote in folks who say they are conservative or, REPUBLIC-ans, only to find out they are not?
Since Reagan we have nearly lost every battle. So, unless they have something new to offer i will not rule out the “wild card”
How is it before talk radio and Fox News we elected one of the greatest Presdients of all time? How is it ever since we have gotten B. Clinton, B.Clinton, G.W. Bush, G.W. Bush, B. Obama, B. Obama. J. McCain, m.romney and now J.Bush?
We must be doing something wrong? Our leaders must be misleading us? We must be following the wrong formula?
I think Republicans have to stand up for what THEY believe and not cave into WHOEVER puts a little preasure on them.
If they haven’t already sold out?
Enter the “wild card” who is familiar with all the dirty tricks, not to mention the dirty tricksters, who claims he is honestly interest in making America great again?
He is a ego maniac? and as such is gambling his own ego that he can get it done? Sure he has a questionable past but at least we know what his past is. We know he can get down and dirty. He won’t take anyone’s crap. Will he be any worse than the last 30 years?
Unless Cruz gets the nom i will play the “wild card”
Oh, as for Glenn Beck he “talks a big game”. ALthough, he has done quite well for himself..talking.
“These are smart people. What am I missing?”
Less drinking would help...
“My estimation is illegal aliens are at least 50% of this countries problems.”
I would say a overreaching Federal Government is 80% of the overall problem.
The wall is a good start. True tax reform is a another. Welfare to Work fare is another. Requires a leader not gutless sellouts who are only worried about re-election.
I’m on your team.
I pinged you, and others, to my post to gusty.
“These are smart people. What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now.”
You are missing brain cells Glenn. The ones that died over the years you laid in the gutter drunk and on cocaine. That’s why you thought it was a good idea to take teddy bears and soccer balls to the gang banging illegal teens who swarmed across the border.
The rare time he was on while I was driving, I realized he can’t stand Trump and denigrates him at every chance.
For a few weeks he didn’t even want any mention of Trump.
I can’t stand to listen to Beck’s show, now.
Glenn, it’s possible that so many of us who are urging Trump onward are actually supporters of the effect he’s having on the GOP, and the hoped-for RINO purge it may help to establish.
A. I wasn’t trying to be witty. This isn’t a funny subject.
B. We don’t have the thousands of unaccompanied CHILDREN still flooding the border like we did then.
I’ll back and forth with you until hell freezes over if you wish.
I noticed, however you still have not answered my questions from the previous response.
That indicates your unwillingness to engage beyond your narrow worldview.
Some day when you understand REAL Conservatism you’ll get this.
I pray God can someday crack that callous shell around your soul.
Well this is early enough that if Trump ends up taking the path into the weeds such as with Ayotte for VP he’d find his popularity tank very quick. Right now he serves a purpose and he is taking the jobs issue seriously. Almost no one is talking about doing something about America bleeding manufacturing jobs or Americans being replaced with H1B1 visa holders. The proof is in the pudding. Right now I’m just happy he is stopping the Jeb machine dead in its tracks and he’s turning the political status quo upside down. Right now I’m in wait and see mode. I don’t see him as a threat. He and Cruz have made peace and if he’d go with Cruz as VP if he maintains his popularity and wins the nomination I’d have no problem voting for him because I trust Cruz.
Me: Why Do Conservatives Pay Any Attention To This Media Whore Glenn Beck?
I can’t see Ted Cruz taking a VP slot on a Trump Ticket.
I notice you don’t address the sin of Cruz and Beck abandoning the children at the boarder.
+++++++++
If you could just get to the point, I might get to read the question you want answered.
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, you have diarrhea of the keyboard.
As it is, I tire of your words after a line or two.
OK.
Would you have let those children die in the desert?
Would you have set back, had a good laugh as they plucked those bodies out of the sand?
Succinct enough for you?
You know, I actually read what people post to me, in the hopes I may gain insight into a subject. I guess that concept is foreign to you.
Let’s start here: Was Cruz at the border with Beck?
I’m not answering questions twice. I answered this in the second response, 2nd paragraph that I sent you. It’s not my fault you refuse to, or can’t read those responses.
Since you wont engage either honestly, or intellectually, further debate with you is impossible.
Good luck, I hope you find happiness some day.
