Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s most trusted confidante, is increasingly becoming a central figure in the email scandal that’s haunting her boss on the campaign trail, as Republicans and federal judges seek information about Clinton’s communications while she was running the State Department.
The 2016 Democratic front-runner on Monday told a federal judge that Abedin — long considered her boss’s keeper and even dubbed her “shadow” — had her own email account on Clinton’s now infamous home-brewed server, “which was used at times for government business,” Clinton acknowledged. That’s an unusual arrangement, even for top brass at the State Department.
Abedin has hired a team of lawyers, one of whom is a former Clinton aide, who are responding to information requests from the courts and State. They’ve denied any wrongdoing on the part of their client and said Abedin is cooperating with requests for official emails in her possession, aiming to turn over all her correspondence by the end of August.

And, they have to think that the gig is up as to 0bama protecting them. He probably made sure there was nothing left that could implicate him on Benghazi, and now has unleashed the DOJ and FBI on Hillary. I bet HRC and her close aides (? if that is what you call them) are sweating bullets now.
I don’t understand why Huma has “until the end of August” to turn stuff over. If that was any of us, they wouldn’t have given us 10 minutes.
Huma is a muslim. She won’t be meeting Mr. Foster anytime soon. This regime protects muslims at all cost.

excellent interview with Monica Crowley below. Starts off with her theories on Hillary/Obama-—and then reviews all of the GOP candidates...and also Biden & Sanders.
For some time now, Crowley has theorized that Obama is behind the escalation of Hillary’s server troubles. She points out that Obama buries adm scandals, but not this one.

What’s Obama’s motive? This sums it up:

You gotta believe 0bama is in on this Clinton email deal, or he would have called off the DOJ, called off the FBI, and made some ridiculous comments to defend HRC, talk about what a great public servant she has been, how she will make a great Pres, etc. The only way this email stuff is being allowed to keep moving along, is with the permission (if not encouragement) of 0bama and his team. I think they want to keep it moving forward, but not too fast, so that whatever candidate they run instead of HRC does not have time to be fully vetted by the GOP and the media, and does not have time to screw up too much in campaigning or debates. I think the candidate (maybe Biden) will run on a completely “0bama third term” platform/agenda, and hope they can commit enough election fraud to make it work.

This is total spin BS ...Huma does not have Clinton’s top secret clearance. Only Clinton can see those documents, if Huma saw them or dealt with them, then the person who had the top secret clearance and then allowed an aid to see any top secret document is FULLY RESPONSIBLE for breaking the law. It can be easily found in a subsection of the Espionage Act ...and is VERY clear. One count will get the violator a 10 year prison sentence and heavy fine. Each email in this case is a “ count”...4 top secret emails so far means they have four counts toward prosecution, all that Is needed for prosecution is ONE! This is a Very Big Deal.
If Trump becomes the Republican nominee, I think the GOPe leaders will pass on having any investigations on HIlary.
Maybe her buddies in ISIS will return all the favors she did in arming, training, and funding them by giving her asylum.
And since she’d have to cover that ugly face of hers in haji-land, it would be a win all around.
H’mmmm.....that’s interesting. The FBI need to go have a talk with Michele Bachmann. Didn’t Michele try to warn people about Muslim Brotherhood being embedded in our government! Unless I’m mistaken, Huma Abedin was on the top of the list.
She hired lawyers. That’s a message that she’d best not be made to disappear.
But what I want to know is who is paying the lawyers? The Clinton Foundation? If someone is paying them for her that is taxable income.
I have to say I’d be proud of Obama if his legacy becomes “the one who sent the Clintons to prison”.
