Ouch; that’s a bad offramp. Lord, I know that the way I perceive him is pretty much the way that You perceive me; so please have mercy on both of us. Thanks.
The Carter family also has a bad history of being subject to cancer. Survival rates (5 year) are rather bad with local spread giving regional spread a 7% survival rate while distant spreads bring it down to 2%.
I have a low opinion of President Carter’s term in office and I feel that Obama can do little but raise his rating by a notch. Still, “Ask not for whom the bell tolls ... !”
Well that’s a shame. Those of us who still have our parents from that generation hate to see something like this.
As we age, our immune system, which has to destroy cancer cells and thousands of other pathogens daily, weakens. Cancer should come as no surprise if one lives to 80 or 90. We all die of something.
prayers up for Jimmah
Sounds bad, was he in Colorado last.week?
Would James Earl (Jimmy) Carter do what John Bernard Books did when he was dying of cancer ???
NAH Jimmy is gutless...
I pray he repents and turns to Christ before he dies.
I won’t say what I think as I will go to Hell for it. :-)
Huh.
Bummer deal. Just means that soon, he’ll be a good democrat.
I sense Carter was wrongheaded not wrong hearted. I do not agree with his politics or his socialist agenda but I honestly believe that he believed that what he did was right. He did not intentionally act to harm this country; not like some.
I certainly do not wish ill or suffering on him or hos family. He has had a good run and it is unfortunate he will suffer on his way out.
I was wondering as they issued the Presidential Dollar Coins if Reagan would have to wait... “The program’s end[edit]
The act specifies that for a president to be honored, the former president must have been deceased for at least two years before issue.[8][9] It will take about ten years from the start to honor all 39 eligible presidents. The series will end in 2016, now only one year away, after honoring Ronald Reagan, since neither Ronald Reagan’s immediate predecessor, Jimmy Carter, nor any of Reagan’s successors (George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama) are eligible, all of whom were still living on January 1, 2015. On February 12, 2015 the US Mint confirmed that President and Mrs. Reagan will be getting coins in 2016 in a letter to Representative William P. Huizenga (R-MI).[10] The Mint also stated the work had started on designs for the Reagan coins.[10] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_$1_Coin_Program
Yep, may God have mercy on his soul.
As much as I dislike him, I don’t wish this upon him. Hops he finds strength.
