It was burning before it exploded. You can see the dark smoke rising from the light at the bgeinning and trailing over to the left of the screen..
Whoa!
That sounds about right. Static electricity causes a lot of these massive explosions.
The trails of the flying debris are most similar to those in fireworks. Ordnance like rockets would not follow such classic ballistic arcs but take off on their own random trajectories as the motors ignited. Other ordnance like warheads or artillery shells wouldn't leave a trail.
I don’t think the Chinese are going to be so nice to the terrorists if they pull crap there...
There was a group of diaper-heads that tried to take over a jet in China (to crash into a building)
The people on board basically stomped 3 of them to death, and left the 4th alive for questioning.
Maybe if the explosion took power lines with it.
The first link to You Tube did show what seemed to be dead bodies. How are they ever going to put that blaze out, assuming it’s in a crowded city area?
Zig! With great justice!
BBC/sky, etc. all over this.

My thoughts too!
This area is part of a massive development of both industrial and high tower buildings.. Mostly empty for now.. And more being built.. The port there is huge.. And will likely grow..
We jumped off a cruise ship there and drove for miles thru complexes spread out for miles.. Empty.. For now..
This explosion will have zip for effect , hopefully casualties are minimal. These places have a lot of distance between them.. China is Hugh after all.
Vodka distillery?
Mothra defending her island from the Chinese.
reminds me of a famous song...
Wuudka!
Would a gas main send those flaming metallic arcs of fire across the sky like in the pic?
Natural gas tanks might.

It is very difficult to get an explosion from inside a natural gas storage tank. To ignite, it has to be mixed with air down to 5~15% concentration.
Massive fires happens, but for an explosion, it normally comes from a leak into a container (house) that first contained air.
