Megyn Kelly reportedly received death threats from Donald Trump supporters
Yahoo News ^ | Aug. 11, 2015 | Colin Campbell

Fox News host Megyn Kelly told her network that she received death threats from Donald Trump supporters, New York magazine reported Tuesday.

The magazine's Gabriel Sherman did not elaborate on the nature of the threats, which he attributed to "one high-level source."

Trump raged at Kelly after she moderated the first Republican presidential debate last Wednesday. During the event, Kelly confronted him with derogatory comments he's made about women, including calling individual women "fat pigs" and "dogs."

"Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?" Kelly asked.

The real-estate magnate bristled and told Kelly he didn't have the time to be politically correct.

-- The Donald should go on TV and say to people to knock it off, this was only a difference of opinion not life or death --

That's a great suggestion, and works regardless of the basis for the report.

This is simply a left-wing media template for a news story. It has been repeatedly used in the past. Sorry, it doesn’t work on me. I will support Trump as he breaks down the PC bull crap in politics, while maintaining my support for a more presidental candidate such as Cruz. I reserve the right to change my mind about Cruz if he falls apart, then I will move on to the next candidate until it comes to Bush. That is when I stop caring about the election and focus other matters, such as what I should do on election day instead of voting.

A lot of Trump supporters are cranks, judging by some of the posts here, so I can actually believe this.

“She got 32,000 negative posts on FB and I read a lot of them. Insulting and mocking but not threatening.”

Death threats can get to her without it being on the internet. In fact, I doubt such a person would use the internet to threaten someone’s life.

“Pulling the victim card is a pathetic though common counterattack to the other guy pulling a victim card”

-—Just like Eric Erickson came out Saturday and said that he was getting hate tweets, and many of them calling Obama the N-Word *eye roll* Give me a break! Just like they told Trump...”if you can;t take the heat get out of the kitchen”

There are a lot of people on FR who adopt a messiah at the start of every campaign and foam at the mouth when any ones questions their holy one. Last time around it was Herman Cain. I don’t see what’s so threatening about expecting these messiahs to answer questions and provide a rational program, but apparently their fans do.

Not likely. Nut Jobs always want to get in on the action! Probably some of Bernie’s poop sign protesters that were tormenting Walker a few weeks ago. Those folks cross lines all the time!

If someone threatens your life, would you keep it to yourself so you wouldn’t be “pulling the victim card”. Your post makes no sense.

You have a good point, I should have stated that victim card is being pull, you're correct it doesn't appear to be coming from Kelly her self.

OTOH, this tactic seems to be so common these days, well, it is more and more of the boy who cried wolf.

Thanks for the correction on my post.

Of course. Fake protestors are a hallmark of Rove’s arsenal. Preferably with masks on, so they can be hired to play both sides of the field multiple times.

George Soro’s paid protestors were out in full force against Trump in Los Angeles last month: http://www.breitbart.com/immigration/2015/07/10/photos-videos-protesters-square-off-outside-donald-trump-los-angeles-speech/

I’ll never forget when Andrew Breitbart first explained how this was done. My mind was blown over the level of media hoaxing that goes on.

First of all, he will drop out long before them. Second, with all the dirt on him, if he were the nominee, Hillary could get 70%.

But, no. Not voting for a socialist. If I did, could I complain when my taxes were raised and my property was taken away? When weaponized amnesty was enacted? But he will never be the candidate.

Out of the millions of people in America, there has to be some crazies. I’m talking real crazies who would send death threats versus McCain “crazies” who only resist seeing the USA turned into Mexico.

Additionally, how in the world can they know the writers are actually Trump supporters? Anyone who wanted to discredit Trump could pose as a supporter and write a death threat. If there are crazies crazy enough to write a death threat in the first place, there must be crazies crazy enough to hate Trump so much that they’d attempt to discredit him any way they could (and that’s not even talking about political operatives who are crazy in a league of their own).

She says she’s getting death threats from “Trump supporters”. Someone should ask her “Just Trump supporters or are there others? And how do you know they’re Trump supporters?”
