Fox News host Megyn Kelly told her network that she received death threats from Donald Trump supporters, New York magazine reported Tuesday.
The magazine's Gabriel Sherman did not elaborate on the nature of the threats, which he attributed to "one high-level source."
Trump raged at Kelly after she moderated the first Republican presidential debate last Wednesday. During the event, Kelly confronted him with derogatory comments he's made about women, including calling individual women "fat pigs" and "dogs."
"Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?" Kelly asked.
The real-estate magnate bristled and told Kelly he didn't have the time to be politically correct.

Obviously, no one should ever make death threats, but just as obviously, this can’t the first time that people at Fox have received them.
Perhaps you can give us tomorrow’s lottery numbers since you have such a great view of the future.
The inference is that the authors express anger over the debate, in particular, anger over the questions put to Trump; and the (same) authors deliver threats.
Based on probability, some Trump supporters are unhinged people, just as some Obama supporters, Hillary! supporters, Sanders supporters, and so on. Just playing the numbers, the more supporters a public figure has, the more unhinged people too.
It's a non-story. Dog bites man. Somebody got shot in Baltimore. Agitators succeed in Ferguson.
You don’t have to be smart to figure that out. Do you think Obama is going to tack to the hard right in his last 1.5 years? Will McConnell repeal ACA? Somethings aren’t hard to figure out.

Kelly could have thrown him a gay marriage question - so can any other talking head that wants to use homesexuality as an issue to put pressure on Trump.

The problem with the internet is we can claim to be anyone we want to be. I can claim I’m a tea partier and make a threat to a democrat.
Kelly didn’t seem concerned when the woman who set up the Free Speech Mohammed Cartoon in Garland, Texas was repeatedly by known killers that she was going to be beheaded. Greta showed concern, but Kelly was AOL.
If you will not vote for him as the candidate which he very likely will become, why bother spamming. Do you get a high from insulting everyone who likes him?
It's the standard playbook. If he does nothing, he is weak. If he complains, he is a victim/sissy. If he hits back, he's a bully. It's the predictability of all this that makes it so tedious.
I'm not saying the alleged threats come from genuine bona-fide Trump supporters. I would say it is near certainty that there are false-flag threats.
No I don’t. But people might have had a morbid curiosity to see what the witch had to say momentarily last night and turned her on for a minute. I did not. I want her to just go away. She is like Reese Witherspoon in that movie Election, the one that everyone hated. I pray she goes to work for Hillary and takes Huma’s job. That narcissism will get her a little ways but eventually people want her smarmy face gone and the sabotage begins.
