This morning Ted Cruz released a new video ad that promises to prosecute and defund Planned Parenthood, also telling people to join him in Iowa for his Rally for Religious Liberty on August 21st.

It would be interesting if the 2016 election was all about Planned Parenthood.
It would be payback for the 2006 election, which was all about the wide stance in in the restroom stall.
I wonder if it might be helpful for Cruz’s team if each of us tried to find a neighborhood provider of women’s health that also offers a discount or provision for lower income patients...?

Charging them with crimes is the only way of stopping it. Defunding only changes who pays for the same activities. Makes another criminal money for selling parts.
I think it’s great how Trump is attracting all the lightening (and oppositional resources) and enabling Cruz to run unimpeded.
The resulting wailing and gnashing of RINO teeth is downright musical.
I hope they both get a chair when it stops.

ABSOLUTELY. Those are the issues that help me decide.
Of course, what they say and what they’ll DO is another thing. For that, I’ll look at their RECORD and BACKGROUND.
Maybe Congress will have the stones to do it on the next try.

first candidate to openly declare that they will rescind all of Obama’s executive orders wins the debate! That was Ted Cruz. Voting on him in our primary.

Interestingly enough I see my congressman used the term “DC Cartel” in a tweet today. He’s been a decent enough congressman with a few missteps but using the Cruz term indicates a growing defiance to leadership.
We talk about how bad the GOP is but I think many individual representatives and senators may be salvageable if we break the cartel and they no longer have the threat of retaliation hanging over their heads.
