Donald Trump saw his lead over his Republican presidential rivals grow substantially in the days following both the first GOP debate and his controversial comments about debate moderator Megan Kelly.
Trumps support increased by 7 points to 32 percent, according to this weeks Morning Consult tracking poll.
The real estate moguls closest rival Jeb Bush lost a point, dipping to 11 percent of the vote among self-identified Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.
Support for all other candidates was in the single-digits.

Trump has no chance of winning!
Amazing ... wonder if the establishment will ever get it ...
Is this a legit poll? If so wow
Go Trump! He’s Braveheart! He is showing us how to fight
Trump vs. Hillary would be a match between two of the most-hated people in America.
A truly uninspiring race. Whoever wins, we lose.
None! None at all! LOL!
Just like the last half a dozen races.
Trump has no chance of winning!
They said the same thing about Obama around this time when he was running against Hillary.
How long till Frank Luntz hangs himself at the nearest gas station bathroom?
Because we have been winning so much ground since elected GOPe RINO jackboots to DC, right? Lol. You anti-Trump, GOPe RINO jackboot lickers are pretty funny. Face it: The GOP is dead because we have been voting "lesser evil" for far too many decades. Hopefull in 2016, the ratio of TRUE AMERICANS vs GOPe RINO jackboot lickers is enough to tip the scale in AMERICA's favor.
Yep, I was hoping FR at least could be counted on to back the only true, consistent conservative in the race, Ted Cruz, so we could finally have our first conservative win at the presidential level since Reagan.
GenPop is tired of enduring politi-speak and the runaround. Trump may be boorish, less than PC (which is a huge factor in his favor) and very direct, he is however a successful billionaire in his own right and He’s Trump. He’s not playing some role like a marionette with Lather-Reince-Repeat Preimus at the other end of the strings. Its hard to argue against that kind of success. He’s met plenty of payrolls, he knows how economics works. Libtards and moderates will say he’s had several bankruptcies, so what, look around imbeciles, our government is bankrupt both financially and morally. Il Douchebag in the white house and complicit legislative hive of scum and villainy are to blame. Its past time to start the repairs. We need an outsider. The Witch sure isn’t one, and neither are most of the other GOP field, Dr. Carson and Ms. Fiorina being the notable exceptions.
Impossible. The Money Honey (Bartiromo) had Pataki on yesterday, and said he was electable.
Trump is a RINO. The only candidate we have who actually was a registered Democrat for 10 years since 2000.
You have to be truly confused to accuse Ted Cruz supporters of being an establishment RINO.
He also has low information voter appeal as well as the angry voter appeal. He can win easily if he gets to the finals.

What do you think Cruz’s odds of winning are?
Do you think the uniparty that’s so carefully scripted the whole primary (for years) will allow him to win?
I’d love him to win.
If he’s still on the ballot when my state votes I’ll gladly vote for him (for all the good it will do, I think voting is rigged in my precinct but that’s another tale).
I suspect, as has happened for decades, that by the time the primaries roll around to MY state that yeb will already be the default nominee.

Comments like that would make Tokyo Rose smile.
