Does society demand a rape victim apologize for calling out the rapist??? Then why should Trump apologize to Megyn Kelly for calling her out on her attack on Trump??

The media types ( Fox included ) don’t get it.

Megyn Kelly’s attempt to portray Trump as a sexist is causing trouble for the network.

Why? Partly because people have grown weary of this fake war on women. If Megyn Kelly had shown some spine and started the debate by asking Trump a relevant question about a real issue facing concerned Americans, instead of channeling Candy Crowley and Katie Couric, she and Fox News wouldn’t be on the ropes right now.

Instead, by attacking Trump on something most viewers don’t care about and turning the debate into a reality show approximating Jerry Springer, she simply confirmed what many voters already suspected — THE MEDIA IS NOT INTERESTED IN MATTERS OF SUBSTANCE, ONLY IN RATINGS.

[O]nly a sick person would even think about it.” """"....

YEP. I think Cruz address this sickness once, when being interview with some idiotic question, seems like his response was "why do you always talk about Sex?".

Because they are SICK, SICK, SICK...and classless.

So, thinkin’ back to last Thursday night. In hindsight, you gotta wonder, why was megyn’s very first question of the night the one to Trump about his statements about women? Really? Does anyone else think that maybe there are more pressing issues that could have been addressed as the first question? I guess some folks arrived at the answer a lot quicker than I did. I already surmised it would be mostly a search for “gotcha” moments and not much else.

“Megyn Kelly takes heat”

“Takes heat”? We know what that means. The author is making an accusation that Megyn Kelly is going through “the change”. How despicable.

Kelly's response doesn't make sense. I am glad Trump stood up to the media and responded. To deal with bullies one cannot remain meek. There should have been a stronger response to Candy Crowly.

Kelly's bias was blatant - she didn't go after Jeb regarding Terri Schiavo.

Seemed to me that the Fox strategy was to initially go after what they perceived to be each candidates biggest weakness. It that context, it seems Trump got off pretty easy.

IMO his comments about her “bleeding from wherever” were a bit too coarse for public discourse.

megyn kelly and rosie odonnel deserve scorn, but this won’t help the Republican party if Trump becomes the nominee. He must drop out of the race entirely now. His ego is even bigger than that of Chris Christie.

Trump got in a twitter war with Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie says despicable things all the time, like calling George W Bush a murder who was behind the 9/11 attacks. She's not some wilting damsel who comes down with a case of the vapors whenever harsh language is used in her presence, and she started the war in the first place by saying mean things about Trump. So let's take Rosie's feelings off the table.

Megyn Kelly said 'it goes far beyond' Rosie O'Donnell. Really? Is there any evidence that this is the case, or did Megyn Kelly make that up? This should be something that can be looked into. If she made it up, her question was invalid and she's a hack who was doing a hatchet job. If there is a pattern of Trump saying these things about many women, that a discussion on the merits of the question can be had. I've not yet seen any evidence that Trump said these things about anyone other than Rosie O'Donnell though.

Trump bots turned on their televisions expecting to see a game of beanbag but Megan Kelly came to a political debate.

Looks as if the American people are sick and tired of the ruling-class media choosing their candidates.

Bingo! When are these airheads going to learn their job and responsibility is to report the news, not fabricate it. Dan Rather and Brian Williams should have set an example for those who want to diddle with the news. I'm really not interested in what the reporter thinks. Just give me the facts and shut up. I'll take it from there.

Megan Kelly should show her strength and quit Fox News and go out and start her own network.

Is there any substance on political positions going on right now? No just a food fight over inane questions and answers and post ‘forum’ semantical fights.

From the article:
So is all this Kelly versus Trump back-and-forth insignificant? Hardly. The Russian writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn once suggested that countries go down because of media personalities like Megyn Kelly. The willful dissemination by “journalists” of the trivial and the irrelevant is “dangerous,” says the dissident.

From Solzhenitsyn’s 1978 Harvard address:

What sort of responsibility does a journalist or a newspaper have to his readers, or to his history -- or to history? If they have misled public opinion or the government by inaccurate information or wrong conclusions…. A nation may be the victim of such a mistake, but the journalist usually always gets away with it.

…Because instant and credible information has to be given, it becomes necessary to resort to guesswork, rumors, and suppositions to fill in the voids, and none -- and none of them will ever be rectified; they will stay on in the readers' memories. How many hasty, immature, superficial, and misleading judgments are expressed every day, confusing readers, without any verification.

The press -- The press can both simulate public opinion and miseducate it.. we may witness shameless intrusion on the privacy of well-known people under the slogan: "Everyone is entitled to know everything." But this is a false slogan, characteristic of a false era. People also have the right not to know and it's a much more valuable one. The right not to have their divine souls [stuffed with gossip, nonsense, vain talk.]

… in the West fashionable trends of thought and ideas are carefully separated from those which are not fashionable; nothing is forbidden, but what is not fashionable will hardly ever find its way into periodicals or books or be heard in colleges.

Imagine in a Democrat Debate Megyn Kelly asking Bernie Sanders about his “Women fantasize about being Raped” writings from way back when.

The problem isn’t that Megyn Kelly is on the rag. The problem is that Megyn Kelly is a whore and a rapist. She was paid to rape her own profession, paid to rape the needs of Americans to learn about the candidates, paid to rape the respect Conservatives deserve, and paid to rape the integrity of Donald Trump.

And the bitch took the money and delivered, with a thousand-watt smile.
