Trump’s battles with Kelly will probably further burnish the anchorwoman’s reputation as a tough-as-nails television star. The conservative cable news channel has sought to market Kelly as a strong and independent voice.
Inside Fox, the view at the end of the debate was that all three moderators — Kelly, Bret Baier and Chris Wallace — had fared well, and that Kelly was the stand-out.
Some political observers said that Fox’s post-debate coverage seemed tilted against Trump, partly because of a Frank Luntz focus group, convened by Fox and televised immediately after the debate, that had an anti-Trump tone.
Trump was incensed by the focus group.
“Where did you find that dumb panel” he asked Luntz via Twitter.
He also tweeted that Luntz is “a low class slob who came to my office looking for consulting work and I had zero interest. Now he picks anti-Trump panels!”

Luntz tried to derail Trump at that religious forum in Iowa too.

Rick Santorum was just on Greta. She asked why no audience at first debate. His answer was Ohio was having a district Gopee meeting and had workshops during early sessions.
So those folks in evening session were plants from their big conference. Explains a lot!!
Trump called the panel a “dumb panel” - said Luntz picked non-Trump people on purpose.
I watched the panel and many hands went up when asked if they were for Trump when the debate started. Then the question was how many have changed their minds and many hands went up - they dumped Trump and most of them changed to Cruz.
In my opinion, Trump is a narcissist who will lash out at anyone having an opinion different than his. He is mean and uncouth and childish. He was asked a question he didn't like and now the person who asked the question is on his “hit” list. In fact, all of Fox is on his hit list.
The next debate is the CNN debate in September. He will want CNN shut down if he gets another question he doesn't like there.
Luntz is a dunce because it's painfully obvious that he manipulated his panel to produce a result desired by the Fox News honchos.
If his panel were honest and genuine, their results would have aligned with the vast majority of post-debate opinion across the internet.
Kelly who?! - I watched that debate & didn’t see anyone named Kelly.
If WTVR really thinks this was a showing of “independence” by Kelly, they clearly have snorted one line too many. I commented to the family before the debate began that her demeanor, and Wallace’s, was like a couple of giddy high school children, knowing that they would soon be able to insult the adults without fear of punishment. Beyond unprofessional, it was adolescent egocentrism.
A week or so from now we’ll know for sure whether or not the media attempt to destroy Trump will be effective this round. If not then we carry on down the path we are on...one of Trump dominating the polls for the nomination.
There will be an unending campaign to kill his political chances going foward. Just like there would be if Sarah was running. He has weathered it so far like not many could.
Yes, he can be too outspoken but people want a viscious pit bull right now, we have real enemies.

Maybe they haven’t read their Facebook posts but I think they have all read the FB and Twitter comments because they constantly promote themselves there. I think the FOX News audience overall was highly offended by the whole thing which won’t be good for them. Audience is now on to them as being no different than the others.

Marco performed well, and is a nice guy like The Huckster, but he won’t go anywhere with his positions on immigration and Gang of 8 membership. Just waiting for the eventual knife-in-the-back like the Huckster-McCain gem.

The panel list came from the same GOPee conference that Rick Santorum mentioned. Therefore they were all establishment.

Marcella, you know I rarely disagree with you, but on this, I must.
If you go back and examine the questions that were asked of Trump, it's apparent that most of them were of a personal nature, while the questions asked of nearly every other candidate were about the issues.
If I were Trump, I would be incensed over that sort of humiliating treatment on an international stage. Especially since he's the front runner.
That would be a huge improvement!!
