Trumps battles with Kelly will probably further burnish the anchorwomans reputation as a tough-as-nails television star. The conservative cable news channel has sought to market Kelly as a strong and independent voice.
Inside Fox, the view at the end of the debate was that all three moderators Kelly, Bret Baier and Chris Wallace had fared well, and that Kelly was the stand-out.
Some political observers said that Foxs post-debate coverage seemed tilted against Trump, partly because of a Frank Luntz focus group, convened by Fox and televised immediately after the debate, that had an anti-Trump tone.
Trump was incensed by the focus group.
Where did you find that dumb panel he asked Luntz via Twitter.
He also tweeted that Luntz is a low class slob who came to my office looking for consulting work and I had zero interest. Now he picks anti-Trump panels!

Fox news agrees with McCain. The voters are idiots. And if they don’t elect a rino or a liberal they’re too stupid to even vote. The media is part of the elites. They all party together and look down on us peons.
I’ve never seen a Luntz panel that had any credibility. You can always tell a certain amount of them are lying.
I have to admit it’s funny that Trump retweeted the “Bimbo” tweet after she accused him of being part of the fake war on women. Apparently he doesn’t give a damn what she thinks.
What I know is that, I seem to be witnessing the same type of irrational attacks against another champion of American greatness - just like I witnessed here when Sarah Palin was regularly raked over the coals by supposed 'conservative' Freepers.
I and others fought back that tide of Palin Derangement Syndrome for years. It wasn't until it appeared that she was finally retired from politics - and no longer a real threat to the establishment - that the attacks against her on Free Republic finally settled down.
Trump is an admittedly imperfect standard bearer for the conservative cause, but he's a helluva lot closer to we conservatives than most in the GOP establishment, let alone, the Dems. He's a fighter with a lifelong track record of WINNING, and who's determined to see this country restored to its true greatness.
If you ask me, we could do a whole lot worse than having a successful outsider, a natural CEO, who knows how to run a tight ship, and who loves his country, than Donald Trump.
The conservative cable news channel....
**
FAUX News conservative? Uh, no.
Trump told the world that he bought Hillary and she had to come to his wedding because she’s for sale. I’d love to see him debate her and ask her “How much money have I given you? I’ve lost count.”
Yeah, I used to like Laura until she trashed Palin.
Only an arrogant, egotist in love with themselves would torpedo themselves like she did.
So your position is that snap polls on the internet are more accurate than real time focus group reaction tracking?
No wonder you know so much about Nigerian scammers...
Huh? You seem to be repeating what I just said.
Are you saying that a small focus group, run by a paid consultant, is more correct in their analysis than that of tens of millions of ordinary commenters from across the entire country?
Blank wall logic.
Exactly.
I commented to the family before the debate began that her demeanor, and Wallaces, was like a couple of giddy high school children, knowing that they would soon be able to insult the adults without fear of punishment. Beyond unprofessional, it was adolescent egocentrism.

Excellent description.
Hats off to you, Sand. You couldn't be more right. You've explained the attraction to Donald Trump in a very few (but eloquent) words.
Your comment above is an example of why you're so esteemed on this forum.
“Yeah, I wonder what the ratings would be if Trump declared he was not going to show up for the next one.”
Or if Trump invited the candidates to a debate at one of his hotels and let FoxNews have the view from the parking lot.
Engage your brain and process simple facts:
Focus Group: A few dozen citizens, carefully selected by an even smaller group of political mavens/operatives who run the entire process in a micromanagement style.
Internet Poll: A multiple choice questionnaire open to anyone who wishes to participate via their computer or phone. Responses and participants are not tracked or monitored by the hosts, and can run into the many thousands.
If multiple voting is blocked by the hosts, such polls can be extremely illuminating, as they're a very good reflection of broad public opinion.
Small Focus Groups, on the other hand, can be easily manipulated by those managing them, as we've seen far too many times.
You bet I'll trust the anonymous opinions of thousands of people, versus those of a small hand-picked group. Any day of the week.
You are too generous.
Windflier, you are a much better wordsmith than I.
Oh, I may be wordy at times, but you're the far better smith. I'm still trying to perfect the thing that you seem to do with ease.
Are you speaking of this fox Luntz guy with the bleachers full of card carrying GOP groupies?
This like asking Trump if he has proof the extreme corrupt Mexican government aids and abets their endless poor and uneducated to leave for the U.S.
What an ugly farce.
Anyone who believes Duntz’s group was not fake, I have a bridge I want to sell.
Pray America is waking
Same here, until I heard that cacklefest she had with Ann Coulter. I was actually shocked by the meanness of it.
Mind you, this was also at a time when PDS was running high, and Sarah needed support from everyone on the right. I simply could not believe that two of the brightest stars of the conservative right were shooting Sarah down like that -- on live national radio.
