PALIN PRAISES WALKER AND CRUZ, WANTS TO ‘SPEAK POSITIVELY’ ABOUT SOLID CANDIDATES

Former Alaska Governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin praised Republican presidential candidates Texas Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker while stating that she likes many of the candidates on the GOP side and wishes to “speak positively” about the solid conservative candidates on Friday’s “Mark Levin Show.”
Palin, after continuing her praise of Donald Trump, said, “I think Ted Cruz is great. I’m very thankful for he having taken such a stand on Obamacare, and many other issues. And really being able to shift some of the national debate about the issues because he’s been so out there. He’s been really bold.”
Later in the interview, she praised Scott Walker for taking on the unions, declaring “what a soul that is when you’re up against the unions. You know, most governors have had to face that with public jobs, the public employees union especially. And you don’t make any friends when you take them on, just to do the right thing for your state. Walker is a great example of what it takes, and how great the success is. One of the ramifications of his — and result of his success is, people are rooting for him to become the president.” Palin also said that she wants to “speak positively” about the solidly conservative candidates, and “We have good candidates. There is a lot of hope in this whole lineup. And we just need to, when the time comes, unify. No candidate is perfect. We need to unify behind he or she who will represent the conservative ideals most appropriately, and beat the Democrats.”

Yeah, well, I’ll unify behind a conservative. If it’s a liberal, forget it.

That depends. Jeb is not ‘appropriate’ nor was Romney the baby part businessman. Because they arent remotely conservative. So they don’t get votes from conservatives.

Yeah, well, Ill unify behind a conservative. If its a liberal, forget it.If everyone that said that was donating time and money to the real conservatives, it would be workable. But alas - far too many donate nothing but words and think they are doing their part. I often look to see who donates to FR and assume that those who don't also opt not to give any tangible support to their "beloved conservatives". Of course, there are those who opt not to be named for their donations and who never show up on the donor list.

I'm not sure what this is meant to imply...seems it might be a passive-aggressive attempt at a zing? Of course I could be wrong.
If you mean this for me, you have no way of knowing what I donate politically.
As for FR, I've donated to every Freepathon since I signed up, sometimes more than once in a single quarter. But my name gets left off the donor list for some reason.
Boss, would you please put my name on the donor list? Thank you.
Feel better, trebb?

“Sarah Palin praises Scott Walker.”
Yeah, but she also “praised” Cruz and one other whose name escapes me.
To: SoConPubbie
Palin is watching Cruz, Walker and Trump.
My feelings exactly...
The rest are either not qualified or too stupid to lead the country.

Trump. But my “ping” was to the Wisconsin INTTEREST group. It is meant to alert those folks to read the article. That is where they will find out what else she said — not from my headline.
To: CatherineofAragon
I do feel better - you are the first of about a dozen or so that responded in a positive manner - most just slink into the shadows which is telling. The way I figure is that the real targets of my "probes" may feel ashamed and either put up or shut up which would be a win-win. I know that some who don't show up on the donor list donate far more than I do and assume that they are secure enough not to lose any sleep.
Too many donate nothing but words and I intend to pick away to make them aware that opinions w/o any other form of activity is why the Left keeps making inroads - I still think your comment/opinion on not voting under the conditions stated is a big reason why the Left has been allowed to take so much from us, but at least i know you back your opinions up with more than words.
I won't apologize for my comments that are designed to urge/shame some into doing more than gas about things because someone has to do it - we already know that being "oh-so polite" so as not to hurt anyone's feelings is a path to losing - adults, such as yourself, can roll with the flow and the children will have hurt feelings.

You know what...I apologize for the passive-aggressive remark. Considering how the Freepathons are going, and how many don't donate, your post was fair. It might even have shamed someone into donating. Thanks. :)

Thank you for the kind reply - I try to shame and embarrass those who contribute nothing and respect those who do contribute - even when I disagree with them on some topics (I find you to be one of the more astute FReepers and appreciate your presence.
I contributed to FR this morning and added a note about hoping that my methodology of ruffling some feathers wasn't causing any problems for FR management.
'nuff of the kumbaya stuff - happy FReeping
