Former SC Democratic party chair Dick Harpootlian told MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki Sunday Vice President Joe Biden’s consideration of a presidential run actually gives Democrats the best chance of retaining the White House in 2016.
Harpootlian said Hillary Clinton’s track record will cause her and the Democrats to “die a death of a thousand cuts,” yet Biden is “an inspirational figure” that voters can rally around.
HARPOOTLIAN: I think Hillary comes into the race, as she did in ’08 with all kinds of baggage… There’s going to be distractions, we saw just this week with the Wall Street Journal about payments money raised to the foundation and speeches given, prior to her becoming secretary of state… It’s that kind of record and those kinds of distractions that will keep her off-balance and the Democratic party off-balance throughout the Clinton campaign… I think it’s very important to understand, she will die a death of a thousand cuts, as I said some time ago while Biden can focus the voters on him and on what he proposes to do… Joe Biden is an inspirational figure. He gives a great speech… Bill Clinton had that. Barack Obama had that. Even George W. Bush has that. Hillary Clinton does not have the ability to inspire people."

Biden wouldn’t do much better than Hillary in a debate - superficial charm and and self depreciating humor only go so far. Especially when you know Biden flies home at taxpayer expense and swims nude in front of women SS agents. He’s not the one. Nice guy - white liberal elite... wonderful person to have at an elegant party.

When Biden is touted as the savior of the Democrat’s 2016 Hillary problem, you know their candidate bench is thin and has no talent.

Harpoon’s important comments were not about Biden. They were about Hillary.
Hillary’s baggage is no secret in DC.
His deals with women? It’s the booze. He’s lit up half the time.

Even more interesting to me is the NYT’s did a hit piece on her last week, Hillary DEMANDED they “correct” it and they refused.
IF she’s lost them, she may well be done.
The foundation is corrupt and messy, but the classified info/personal pc is what should finish her.
