The Clintons are discussing how to deal with Trump

Billionaire Donald Trump is blowing away his nearest competitor, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, 2-to-1, in a poll of Iowa Republican voters released Friday by Gravis Marketing on behalf of One American News Network.
Trump has a 15-point lead over Walker in the poll taken of 227 registered Republican voters in the Hawkeye State, asked Wednesday who among the GOP candidates for president they would vote for if the caucus were held today. The results, according to the poll:
Trump, 30.9 percent
Walker, 15.4 percent
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, 10 percent
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, 7.2 percent
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 6 percent
Texas Sen.Ted Cruz, 5.5 percent

Yep, the more or less they see of the candidates the less people like Walker are liked.
These other candidates are soon going to be forced to take off the gloves vs Trump. I don’t know if it will happen next week at the debate, but they are going to have to start calling him to account on his historical positions on moral and political issues, as well as some of his business dealings. What has his position been on abortion? What about the hiring practices of his construction units? How many illegals are they employing? If Iowa and SC republican voters become aware of his history in these areas, they might not be so enamored with Trump.

Pretty soon, the match-ups between Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, and The Donald are going to have to be revealed by the various polling organizations.
I suspect an honest poll of 25% Republicans, 55% of independents, and 30% of Democrats would show the independent vote is overwhelmingly in favor of The Donald, and even a little leakage of vote from Herself to The Donald among the Democrats. The Republicans will have an uncommonly large percentage polling as “undecided”.
If they are like me, it won't matter...The issue is not Trump...The issue is the immediate future of this Nation...Trump is on my side...The rest of them have the mega-rich globalist donors to please...

Most don’t have the guts to do so. Trump has the bullhorn and a blowtorch to go with it, which can burn you up in a flash. Those who have tried to date have learned the hard lesson. He does not back down. If you want to play ‘nasty’ he is ready to spar with you anytime anywhere. It’s nice to have a narcissist who believes in America for once.
Serves all the other candidates right, for tip-toeing around the issue of the alien invasion—which has been an ongoing act of war against the U.S.—ongoing since 1965.

My analysis:
Trump speaks for himself (obviously). The Establishment (i.e., Open Borders people financing the Republican Party) have essentially given up on Bush and are now pushing Walker, as Walker at least has some conservative credentials, and can probably be talked out of his newly-discovered opposition to Amnesty.
Jindal and Kasich are probably still on their announcement bumps, but will likely drop. Figurina is shooting hard at Hillary, but won’t do much better (too much baggage from her past). Huckabee was simply put there to draw the evangelical vote away from Bush, but has shown some signs of life lately with his criticism of the Iran sellout. But the better Huckabee does, the more his past will come back to haunt him - he can never win the nomination, but he can help keep conservatives from winning.
Sanatorum was never going to get anywhere, he simply reminds people of Nixon too much. Perry will be seen as this generation’s Dan Quayle - regardless of what one thinks of Quayle (I loved him), he was stuck with that image for the rest of his political career...same for Perry.
Rubio and Paul have completely tanked. Rubio was coming off his announcement bump on June 1 and it was a good speech, even had Rush going for a while...now Rubio has reverted to being himself, so nothing special there - even The Establishment has given up on him (they had toyed with him as backup to Bush). Paul was the one candidate that had a CLEAR PATH to the big prize (at least prior to Trump), as he was connecting with millennials better than any other Republican and any Democrat (this was before Sanders made his move)...but then he decided that supporting Voter ID was racist and that we need to empty our prisons of felons and give them voting rights...so now he’s now paying the price.
Cruz has the cleanest conservative past, but has been hampered somewhat with his support for greatly increasing H1B’s. Overall, he’s still hanging in there and if Trump tanks, or (more likely) needs a running mate, Cruz may be perfect for that.
And the media hacks though he would get a bump and fizzle. Well, at least not yet.
Trump has shown to be immune to these types of attacks, at least so far. People seem to grasp that he is a businessman, first and foremost, in a highly competitive and cut-throat field, and probably has his fair share of skeletons. People also seem to grasp that he does not live and breathe political ideology and theory, and are tolerant of inconsistencies over time, and are not expecting a polished candidate.
What they are expecting is a fighter, someone who wins against tough opponents, cares for this country above his own political standing, and owes nobody in the DC cartel anything. And this is why the removal of the gloves you refer to is more likely to have a positive effect on his candidacy than a negative one.

I’m thinking the media is sitting on “pounce”, following the Monday night Trump interview with Megyn Kelly and the Thursday night debate.
If Trump is a moderate from the Northeast who is not well shaped to be a conservative (by virtue of his life in NYC) then we had better be prepared for him to occasionally wonder off the conservative reservation, and decide whether we can stick or not.
He has won our hearts on immigration and by verbally kicking all the right people to the curb, telling the truth about DC politics, and it feels good to have a leader for a change!
But, there are a lot of undiscussed issues hanging in the air, for which the Megyn Kellys’ out there are going to try to cause trouble for Trump supporters.
It will be NON_STOP. Are we all going to be ready?
