Real estate developer Donald Trump is continuing his strong showing in the GOP presidential polls, leading in Arizona in a new poll of top-10 candidates conducted by Phoenix-based MBQF Consulting.

Respondents to the automated telephone survey were given a choice of the top 10 candidates as recently determined by a Politico story, pollster Mike Noble told The Arizona Republic. In that poll, recently announced candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich barely missed the cut and was not included in the survey.

Trump was the favorite of 26.5 percent. He was followed by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 12.6 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 12.1 percent.

The rest of the field: Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, 8.7 percent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, 6.0 percent Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 3.9 percent Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 3.9 percent Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, 2 percent Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, 1.7 percent New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, 1.7 percent A total of 21 percent were undecided.

“Who’d vote for him? (Jeb)”

Exactly - which is why they won’t run him. They will run someone Third Party, as the Republican Establishment would rather lose to the a Democrat, than win with Trump (as Trump would force them all to looking for new jobs if he wins, whereas Hillary would not have that power if she wins).

Pretty SICK Republican Party we’re dealing with.

“Interestingly, one thing that I think will really help Trump is that when people actually hear Walker speak, and what he has to say, they’ll drop him like a hot potato and Trump will get most of those votes.”

...same when they hear about Walker’s past regarding Open Borders - he was a big fan of Rubio’s Amnesty bill, at least until he decided to enter national politics as a Republican. Walker has peaked, like Rick Perry in 2012, he was a much better candidate BEFORE voters found out much about him.

“If Jeb were an honest man, he would switch his party to Democrat.”

The Dems wouldn’t take him for a minute - he’s about as inspiring as a walking zombie.

The Dems wouldn’t take [Trump] for a minute - he’s about as inspiring as a walking zombie.

Unlike Hillary Clinton, who veritably exudes inspiration...

I’m not surprised by this a bit.

How could Trump not lead Arizona?

If this poll is even remotely accurate, call off the primary. It is over. Donald Trump has won it. As strong a stranglehold as the party has, they cannot overcome this kind of groundswell.

I tend to agree. Americans are sick of business as usual while getting screwed and looted.

Pretty SICK Republican Party we're dealing with

It either had to come to this or we would at some point descend into the chaos that's (literally) tearing down civilization, globally.

For a few decades, they've told us to vote "for the lesser of two evils". They've said bad choices or the refusal to vote for a non-conservative Republican are because voters are stupid, uninformed, or so dependent on handouts that we'll never elect a conservative. That to win the hispanic vote, candidates had to grovel, that to win the black vote was out of the question. They've caved to the forces of society's destruction on marriage and the invasion of the US.

So here we have Trump. The IDEAL Republican candidate. Heck, we won't even have to spend money on primaries; save it for the election. He's not a force of evil; he's the blustery, successful, outspoken with a sense of humor American dream. He likes families so much that he's had THREE of them. Corporations so much he has hundreds. He wants to give kids free helicopter rides. He calls idiots idiots and won't let his supporters be called crazies.

He's the perfect candidate. And the elitists who pretended to represent us and the media who pretended (somewhat) to be objective are going crazy!

Best thing the establishment 'pubs could do is head for the hills. JMHO.

I’m one Arizonan who’ll be sticking with Ted Cruz.

I'll donate to Cruz and support him until such time as he may be taken out of the race (God forbid). If that happens, and Trump is still alive, I would not hesitate to support him to keep Jeb and a few others out of the race.

Dr Ben, in spite of apparent poor name recognition is holding up well in all the polls.

the importance of that fact is that two of the top five are non politicos. Neither Trump nor Carson have the taint of politician. If you add their totals, the figure is 35%

The old pols are being trashed. A large segment wants a non pol

.

The 2016 GOP Candidate Field better get ready for a can of Donald Trump "Whoop Ass" ...

Why ?

The "conventional" MSM wisdom is that Trump entered the race on a whim ... and will simply continue his bombastic style at the first Fox News GOP Presidential Debate next Thursday.

That's a recipie for disaster for the other GOP Candidates.

Consider this.

Trump's new book will be released next Thursday (August 6, 2015) .... which means that Trump made the "presidential run decision" OVER A YEAR AGO ... to get a book written, edited and published in 365 days.

Indeed, Trump probably had to start the book project at least 18 months ago.

Fast forward to the "politically predictable" first GOP Presidential Debates on Fox News.

Trump has had between 12 and 18 months to secretly prepare for this game-chaning debate.

His opponents are all looking for "silver bullet" to nail Trump in the debate, to salvge their own struggling campaigns.

So how does Donald Trump prepare ?

Get 12 months of the BEST POSSIBLE briefings on foreign policy, military readiness, economic status, Common Core, Planned Parenthood, illegal immigration crime stats, ISIL, Israel, Export-Import bank, TPA-TTP ... the works ...

and if-when a John Kasich / Mike Huckabee type tries to nail Trump on a "technical question" ... Trump blasts them with both barrels with facts and statistics of his own ...

just like a "legitimate" U.S. Presidential Candidate is expected to.

Moreover, Trump has (probably) already secretly created a special campaign website (to be announced at the debate) with an easy simple-to-remember name like "AmericanVictory'org" (as an example).

Fifty million (50,000,000) GOP voter internet visits later ... Trump will have spelled-out (with pictures and quick two minute videos) his "detailed" approach to a dozen different national issues.

Trumps' GOP debate opponents have neither the brains, vision or MONEY to do all that ... except perhaps Ted Cruz.

Finally ... "Yeb Bush" is taken down by Trump with the simple question:

How can you call "immigration an act of love" when 7,567 Americans have been vrutally assaulted, raped, and murdered by illegal immigrants over the last XX years ?

Godspeed Ted Cruz and Donald Trump !

“Me too, but i’d vote for that DC, uniparty, GOPe wrecking ball, DT, in a heart beat. “

There are few parallels between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, but in one area they are very similar. They were/are “delegators.” RR knew what the framework of what he wanted to do looked like, but he “hired” the right people to “implement” it. If Trump succeeds, I would see an administration that would rid itself of all the “hangers on trash” that plays musical chairs amongst the various and sundry “agencies” from admin to admin, and bring in a ton of fresh faces to flesh out these rats nests.
