Donald Trump has broken the political contract with my party. The RNC should return the favor and bar him from the debates, even if it costs us the election
Donald Trump has said plenty to offend humanity at large, which humanity, ever the sucker for a train wreck, keeps rewarding with high ratings. But speaking strictly as a perennially disappointed Northeast Republican, what I find most outrageous is his transparent abuse of my party for expediency's sake.
Rick Wilson recently pointed out on CNN, as others have, that Trump isn't even consistently registered as a Republican, probably rendering him ineligible for the primary ballot in at least a dozen states. He's backed Hillary and other Democrats whenever the winds shifted that way.
Trump himself told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough all we need to know: that for him, "the best way to win is to win as a Republican. I do not want to 'do independent' at all." But he'll make his calculation based on "how I'm being treated by the Republicans."
The Republicans: Third person.

Oh, not just any fool ... he's a Northeast Republican!
You know what "Northeast Republican" means don't you?
Smell the fear...
Ha!
Let me be clear (and Lord knows I have been clear). I do not like Trump AT ALL. Period. The clown’s clown.
However ....
They do that and even I will vote for him. I’ll put a bumper sticker on my car and make phone calls.
So yeah RNCC, lol, make my day.
Like it or not, yeah he does.
Who’s party are you talking about????
WE the AMERICAN PEOPLE are the parties....if you don’t like it, move to another country!!!!!!!!!!
where did they dig this “republikan”? Must be another fictional author from the MSM
” Donald Trump has said plenty to offend humanity at large, which humanity, ever the sucker for a train wreck, keeps rewarding with high ratings.”
What a putrid pathetic mental midget!! He criticizes Trump for offending people and then calls his own base morons in a leftist rag!
Who is this funky person?
Humanity at large ......
Well said.
First of all, The Donald is no rock-ribbed, Midwestern corn-country-ethanol “conservative”, and in fact, has enthusiastically supported some pretty liberal positions. But he is also a pragmatic populist, if the two concepts may be tied together. Use what works, fire the rest, and find a substitute that will do the job even better when the first approach fails.
Sometimes people have failed The Donald, and his wrath can be scathing, but if something is working out at or above expectations for a delegated position, he supports it wholeheartedly. There have been times when The Donald has had to cut his losses, and studying those is much more instructive than trying to find only the best image to put on things.
Business schools are going to be studying the methods and strategies used by The Donald a century from now. Only Class A personalities need apply.
Hi Ladies and Gentlemen
I know you have many questions as always, but I only have a few minutes today.
I ask that you call Senate Majority Leader xyz and House Speaker abc and tell them to pass and fund this bill to put a sorely need wal on the Mexican border.
It's been 4 days since I submitted this bill to both chambers and as far ass I can tell they have taken no action.
Please let them know this is your, and my highest priority and those who fight it will feel not only the wrath of Donald Trump, but of the American people as well.
Please get this done as I think they are beginning to work against Common Sense Immigration Reform and may not be committed.
Did you see his twit/tweet whatever:
Dump Trump, Reince. Do it now.
I’m wondering if the `politically sane host’ (of whatever it is he hosts) has a clue that things are rapidly spiraling out of control for moderate Republicans and Reince has about as much input now as Cecil the lion. RIP
If you ask me the author of this trip has no standing in “my party”.
You'll find him in the dictionary between "fool" and "functionally illiterate."
They really are terrified of him, aren’t they?
Jes.
McCain is TOTALLY YESTERDAY.
