Tuesday’s are always crazy, just some more so.

Mom is doing better. Still some hallucinations, but I think she understands that her not so good eye sight and not so good hearing contribute to them. I don’t see any signs of Alzheimers or dementia, but Charles Bonnet Syndrome (I was researching all weekend) could be something. But even if it is not, I just need to convince her that there is reason for the hallucinations and she must take charge. We’re trying. We talk about it every day.

That she must let them know that she now knows they are not real, that no one gets in the house I don’t let in....she’s trying to “take charge”.

I’m sorry she’s dealing with hallucinations! They can seem very real!

My grandmother had those, mostly after going to bed at night. She said that people she knew that had passed away would sit on the bed and talk to her...keeping her awake. I got chills staying in that country home after that! Especially after all the time me and my cousins tried to scare each other with ghost stories! LOL!

My MIL is amazing! She healing well and gaining strength every day. She has lots of church friends and neighbors that look in on her or get in touch, and she know she can count on them when she needs a ride. As hubby put it...she is aware that she can’t drive. That eased my mind! I know how she loves to get in that car and take off to see us or other family! LOL!

I wonder if that’s why I have a hard time dozing off! LOL! All that caffeine in my system! :)

I thought it was amazing. Usually you see growling and being all territorial and these furballs seem to all be best friends! Does Lynn-DAH seem to like being there?

She LOVES it. As soon as I turn into their driveway, her ears go up, her tail wags, and her feet do the happy dance.

When I go to pick her up, she happy to see me, but not so sure she wants to leave.

HELLO!!! We just had a BIG earthquake!

Preliminary 6.2...it was LONG and shaky.

I called home...Mom is watching tv in bed and her bed started dancing. I need to collect my stuff and work from home. The guy who was here with me, left!
