The Boy Scouts of America is expected to end its ban on gay adult leaders on Monday, dismantling a policy that has deeply divided the membership of the 105-year-old Texas-based organization.
The Boy Scouts National Executive Board will consider a resolution that was unanimously approved by the organization’s executive committee on July 13. The organization is urging an end to the ban because of "sea change in the law with respect to gay rights."

I left BSA 18 months ago and took my entire troop with me to Trail Life USA.
I suspect we’re going to grow a lot this week. I’ve gotten two inquiries about joining our troop yesterday.
What a great idea! Let’s just put NAMBLA in charge of the scouts and be done with it! Nothing could possibly go wrong with this.....and when the number of scouts goes through the floor, they’ll be scratching their heads wondering why.

And they will wonder what went wrong 10 years from now when they close the National HQ.
The BSA could have simply stood firm and told the gays to start their own “Man-Boy Gay Camping Club” and to leave the BSA alone.
Except NO ONE would have joined it. And the gays know this.
Take a look at the Episcopalian Church or the Canadian Boy Scouts to see your future.
Trail of Life...just went over and read the “about” page. Wonderful! I was active in the BSA with my sons and cannot believe what they have become. This is a wonderful alternative...if a lot younger I would personally get active in this organization. I hope many others make your choice.
It won’t take long for their donations to dry up.
How about two adult gay scout masters steaming up their tent with “love” while the adolescent boys in the adjacent tents toss and turn to the sounds of orgasmic pleasures and aromas wafting through the pine forest.
They will need a new merit badge for that.

Yea, it is a typo. But this would be a fitting title for the "new" Boy Scouts.
They might as well change the name to “Scouting for Boys.”
That’s a great way to ask the question. I have a hard time understanding how anyone can be so fixated with one relatively small part of their life that it overrides virtually everything else.
I also can’t understand why the entire nation has become fixated on enabling the mental disorders of a small subset of the population.
2% should be a rounding error, not key demographic
