An angry wife drove her car at her teacher husband after discovering his affair with an 18-year-old former pupil.
Barnado's charity worker Maria Addis, 34, knocked down husband Mark, 37, after learning about his fling with the teenager.
A court heard mother-of-two Addis shouted: "She's only 18 years old" - before driving at the PE teacher with her Chevrolet car.
Rugby player Mr Addis, her husband of 15 years, was confronted by his wife over his love affair with teenager Lucy Gill.
Barnardo's worker Addis was due to stand trial for dangerous driving - but changed her plea to avoid "airing her dirty laundry in public".

Sorry, but I’m sympathetic toward the wives. Actually I’m sympathetic toward any loyal spouse who’s “cheated” on. It’s actually worse than cheating. It’s adultery, and it’s evil.
Weaponized car used in wife’s assault
An ordinary non SUV car was used by a jealous wife as a weapon to attack her teacher husband who was allegedly involved sexually with his student. The Chevrolet was used like an SUV to run over the hapless husband.
The wife is very pretty but no longer young. The former student is nowhere near as pretty, but she's 18 years old and probably thrilled to have attention from someone she respected. The mutant mole rat is just a scum; teachers should never abuse their position of trust with our children.
We need to find out why the husband felt the need to cheat. Maybe the wife let herself go. Maybe her cooking was terrible. Maybe she burned some of his shirts while ironing them.
To resolve the problem, we need to look at the underlying issues. Where did the wife fail her husband.
Looks like the cheater did not own much stuff.
He kept his good stuff at his girlfriend’s place.
Correct. The wife refused to remain 18 yrs old and instead grew up. For her little boy husband that was an automatic disqualifier.
