Iowa takes its early primary too seriously. All primaries should be on the same day, no exceptions.
Taking on the MSM with a fist-to-the-face is only going to drive his polls higher.
It’s time for some gutless republicans to grow a set like the Donald. The press screws with him and he hits back.
I’m sorry, no one who truly respects those who have served in the military will vote for this guy.
I would love for Trump to just buy the paper.
“The Des Moines Register” is the incredible SHRINKING Newspaper(check the width of today’s edition vice a 20 year ago edition it has SHRUNK)!
WHY WOULD WE ELECT PRESIDENT A GUY WHO...?

Earlier today on Twitter I called for the Des Moines Register to remove itself from publications called a “newspaper.”
It takes an arrogant, self-important jerk, or a bunch of arrogant, self-important jerks, to be so full of themselves that they think they are in a position to say someone should withdraw from the race, especially the one leading the field.
Who do they think they are?
I have to say that I enjoy seeing someone take on, and call out, the media. I wish more of the Conservative candidates and ALL Republicans would start doing the same thing.
NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, is gained trying to placate them.
Well, the awful fact is that most of “news” reporting in the United States is sophomoric. The reporters, news readers, etc. write and talk like they are still in high school. And the American people have been so dumbed down they accept it all as the truth.
To have the big government lovers in Iowa (think ethanol and farm subsidies) and the secular NH voters choosing the GOP’s nominee assures that the establishment candidate will always get a strong start. To avoid this, there should be the same primary date for all states.
That’s like the pot calling the kettle black
Never could understand why any Republicans pay any attention to Iowa as it is a blue state. When they are no longer “Idiots Out Walking Around”, then they deserve to be heard. Otherwise, as the first voice of the GOP, they are INVERSE indicators! If and when they deliver electors to the Electoral College, they become worth watching.
... ya’ll remember the Des Moines Register endorsing for President the guy who came home from Vietnam and said this about his fellow soldiers?.. that’s right they didn’t demand he step down from the race they ENDORSED this guy for President.. oh the hypocrisy
“they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam”,— John F.
