Donald Trump again blasts John McCain, says ‘illegal immigrants are treated better than many of our vets’ as he refuses to apologize for war hero comments.
Donald Trump continued his anti-John McCain tirade Monday, saying “illegal immigrants are treated better than many of our vets” as he blasted the Republican’s work in the senate and his home border state of Arizona.

“I do have a problem with what he’s doing on the border – he’s terrible,” Trump continued. “And I do have a problem with the fact, with the illegal immigration, is a disaster and he’s doing a horrible job for the vets. … Frankly, illegal immigrants are treated better than many of our vets. It’s a disgrace what’s happening in this country. And John McCain has done nothing about it but talk.”
Trump said he was fueled to come after McCain after the senator called people who attended a Phoenix rally for Trump “crazies.”
McCain laughed off the assertion.
“You know my state is a very dynamic and divisive state,” he said on MSNBC. “I have hundreds of town halls all over the state of Arizona and I’m called crazy by the people who come there. I thought it was a term of endearment ... I meant it in a term of affection to be honest with you.”

I've heard what some of the other candidates running against him have said, and it made me sick. When they start acting like normal human beings instead of tone deaf politicians, maybe they'll get some of my attention. Until them, I'd prefer they just shut up and stay out of my face. A two faced "politician" is the last thing we need in this country right now.
McCain has been pandering to the liberals for years. He so much wants their approval and to be liked by them. He’s just a senile old fool. The border and veteran situations in McCain’s home state is abysmal, so how anyone can take what he thinks seriously is beyond me. the real “crazies” are those that still support and defend McCain. What has he really done, especially the last 10 years?

Unfortunately it is all too appropriate to the situation.
I remember back during Vietnam, the bus stopped at a local restaurant.
During the war, I can’t remember a single returning vet who paid for his meal.
Some local citizen would quietly pay for it, the vet would get a hug from the waitress and a thumbs up from the cook.
Though I miss him, I’m glad my daddy isn’t around to see how we treat the most deserving of us.
