the media try to deflect the blame away from whom we all know is responsible

Seriously, the media is only worried about competing with the Enquire. I mean, other than some narcissistic, hollyweird types, who in the world cares to see, 24/7, that Bruce has been tainted by those crazy, narcissistic women he's lived with and is now a woman competing with them for attention? Or, how the media conspires with race-baiters to constantly bombard us with only one side of the facts (if it is even really facts)??? Sometimes, one has to turn off the news to stay sane.

Good morning. Caught up on some posts and now I’m off to work. Going to be a scorcher here today and over the weekend too. I thought about going to Cincy tomorrow for the Reds/Indians game but my son says its about sold out, and Great American Ball Park is on the river. There is no heat like river heat with all the humidity. So we may just sit around inside.

Glad you liked the stories. I’ll have to be careful I don’t repeat them.

Sometimes, one has to turn off the news to stay sane.

It is maddening to constantly follow the news, as I try; more frustrating is knowing that too many Americans still believe the alphabet channels. </rant>

Yes, I had a good visit with son-boy earlier this week; he told of his Haiti trip; the kids did a good job and touched many lives, I'm proud of the boy.

Today I'm just going to relax and run a few errands. A road trip with son in a few days, probably go see daughter and then end up next weekend with my sister coming over for my birthday.

Now, please pray for my sister! She lives in Lee, ME (pop 850) and she just got a call that she should lock all her doors and load all her guns. Helicopters and pontoon planes overhead, and her street is blocked off by the police.

Since she doesn’t have a TV, she is getting her news from her computer, but I can’t find anything about it online as of yet...

(BTW, the gummint has been “relocating” Somalis to her little town.

Well, that is a very scary scenario! I pray that she and the other “real” residents of the little town will be safe!

...and send the Somalis home!!!!....where they belong!

Already now she knows that her neighbor (next acreage) has been shot. She doesn’t know his condition. She is getting all her info from telephone calls and FB.

Her husband can’t even come home from work as his road is cut off, and Sis is alone in her house.
