I love me some bacon......actually I like turkey bacon the best, but if it really taste like bacon and is really good for you that’s a big plus. TY for a laugh today on another sad day for our military.

It tastes better when it is fried in bacon grease. Serve it with deep fried twinkies.

But researcher Chris Langdon and colleagues at OSU’s Hatfield Marine Science Center have created and patented a new strain of dulse – one he has been growing for the past 15 years.

Wait a minute, though - Does this mean God might NOT hate vegetarians?

Wow! Never mind the taste sensation, this could be a major theological breakthrough!

The Moose was on “So You Think You Can Dance”, this week.

They did their best to make her look cool. Didn’t work.

You come away thinking they taught her exactly what to say.

I made the mistake once, of tasting some seaweed that my wife bought at Costco.

I might be willing to make the same mistake again if this really tastes like bacon . . .

Other than Asian supermarkets of which I am pretty sure aren’t that close, any recommendations? I saw the dried variations on Amazon. Willing to try it. I’ve had to make a fair amount of changes to the diet.

This seaweed, essentially being a giant algae, lends itself quite nicely to being grown in huge vats or tanks, then harvested in large sheets, dried then packed for shipment. The food world may see a revolution in new uses for this tasty treat!.........................

We eat kale all the time! We cook it just like turnip, collards or mustard greens. Add some bacon or salt pork for flavoring, or pour on some olive oil and it delicious!........................
