Some things are more important than retirement.
David Letterman was called back into action this weekend with a brand-new Top Ten List inspired by the recent presidential candidacy of Donald Trump.
Although hes been content since retiring as host of Late Show in May, Letterman called missing out on lampooning Trumps White House bid the biggest mistake of my life.

I, too, am happy to be judged by my enemies. :{)
You gotta admit in this case it’s an obvious target.
I actually watch it. It was pathetic.
I have never cared for Letterman. Please go away.
Letterman needs to stick to sexually harassing his Assisted Living nurse.
Since relatives of mine who worked for him and have happily ditched him because they thought he had gone senile, I wonder who wrote the list.
This is proof that San Antonio (the venue for the event) is totally beyond redemption. Its spiral into a liberal cesspool accelerates. It’s the same with Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Austin, Brownsville and the other urban areas. There was time when the likes of David Letterman would have rightly feared for their lives by entering this state. Fortunately, the rural parts of the Lone Star State haven’t budged from their foundational values of Christianity and pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun Conservatism.
Maybe he can crack some funny rape jokes about Trump’s daughter..?
> First they said Trump would not run.
He filed the forms to officially run.
> Then they said Trump will drop out.
Many businesses cut ties with Trump to look PC.
Trump did not flinch, actually doubled down.
> Then they said Trump was a past donor to democrats.
Do those low information people know that all large
businesses donate to both parties? Do they
know the total donations by Trump to democrats are
less than 0.01% of his net worth? I would posit he is
stingy with democrats considering most his businesses
are in blue states.
> Then they said Trump was in this race to help Hillary,
by running on 3rd party. I saw his interview on TV.
This is what he said Hillary is the worst SOS ever!
Hillary would make a terrible president
My best chance to defeat the democrats is running
on the republican ticket, 3rd party is a bad idea.
> Then they said Trump will never file his
financial statement. Trump said yesterday he will file
financial statement in the coming week on Thursday.
He said he will not use the two 45 day extensions
available to candidates.
> Then they said Trump is not as rich as he says.
Trump said yesterday, people will see when he files
his financial statement, he is actually more rich!
What will they say next? Trump must be
disqualified because of his hairdo?
Over extended on those stock purchases and you got a margin call, eh David?
Happens to the best of us Dave; now back to the salt mines...
LMAO! Perfect.
I can see why Letterman retired. His list is silly at best.
Mitt RomneyCARE (D, Shapeshifter): "I'm not running as the Republican view or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.
(Backstabber Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)
Letterman was funny a couple times about 30 years ago but then he had Chris Elliot writing his show for him.
Dave made a career out of the same jokes over and over again. Not very impressive at all.
Even Preparation H won’t make him go away.
I haven’t watched Letterman since the 80s. I see no reason to change that now.
Go back to troll blogging under more fake names David. The public is pretty much done with you. We have moved on.
I think we will even be rid of Jon Stewart in a few months. Another involuntary retirement. Yay!
Oh goodness; a politician (or aspiring politician) is being lampooned. Cue the pearl clutchers.
