Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney Join Marco Rubio In Attacking Donald Trump Over Immigration
Breitbart ^ | 07/04/15 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 07/04/2015 11:00:24 PM PDT by Enlightened1

As if right on cue after Romney and Rubio, Bush on Saturday afternoon joined the coordinated parade of establishment Republicans attacking Trump.

“I don’t think he represents the Republican Party, and his views are way out of the mainstream of what Republicans think,” Bush said Saturday afternoon in New Hampshire. “No one suggests that we shouldn’t control our borders – everybody has a belief that we should control our borders. But to make these extraordinarily ugly kind of comments is not reflective of the Republican Party. Trump is wrong on this.”

Trump has been harsh on Bush, Rubio and Romney. When Romney was flirting with a third run for the White House earlier this year, in an interview with Breitbart News and a news conference on his private jet in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Trump called Romney a failure.

“I was right in 2012. I said we don’t have a strong candidate, but we had Mitt Romney,” Trump said. “We went with Mitt Romney and he failed. He let us all down, to be honest with you. For him to be running again is outrageous.”

“He failed,” Trump repeated. “He should have won. [The Obama administration] is a failed presidency. [Obama] is a failed president, and [Romney] should have won, but he lost.”

Bush: “No one suggests that we shouldn’t control our borders – everybody has a belief that we should control our borders."

If that's what you believe, Jeb, then why haven't you and your ilk done a damn thing about controlling the border?

For 29 years, we've been waiting for you politicians to do what you said you'd do. You haven't done it yet.

And you're not going to, are you?

I wrote about this recently:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3307009/posts

I thought it was pretty sound advice for the GOP and conservative thinkers. But just as the AP floats an article about Hispanic ‘groups’ demanding the GOP condemn Trump, it starts within 36 hours - right on cue.

IMO, Bush and Rubio have just disqualified themselves. (I never took Graham seriously anyway). In fact, here’s how a typical RINO politician could be dealing with the matter, when pressured by the media:

“...allow me to clarify what I think Mr. Trump was getting at: We’ve heard reports from our own border patrol about the flood of people crossing our southern border, and lax policies of other agencies that allow criminals on the streets. This is not to point a finger at Mexican Americans, or Hispanics in general. But the Mexican must bare some of the responsibility for this problem. I’m sure as many Latinos have come here for a better live, they don’t want those to may life terrible following them here.

... Mr Trump and I disagree on many issues, and I look forward to these debates. But instead of beating up on another republican, we should thank him for speaking out on an important issue that effects all Americans...”

I feel another rant coming soon...

Underhanded techniques overtly used will essentially kill the gop under the scenario you outline. A worthy and laudable goal I must admit, but I don’t think they’re that stupid. They’ll do what they can to sandbag Trump. If by some chance he is elected, they’ll do what they can to sabotage his agenda. Sort of like how they did under Reagan.

Ultimately the question mark is Trump. Is he really willing to go to the mattresses for this?

All of them believe illegals should stay here

Not only that they should stay here. That would be bad enough.

They also believe that calling attention to the crimes they commit, thereby designating them as an identifiable group, is "racist", and that the horrors such as the woman killed at the Embarcadero in SFO (she was only white and native born, after all) represent unavoidable collateral damage in their war to fundamentally transform America into Brazil.

A “republican” candidate will be the one the rinos pick, not the one WE the people desire.

“I don’t think he represents the Republican Party, and his views are way out of the mainstream of what Republicans think,” Bush said Saturday afternoon

Hey JEB! how would you know what Republicans think? Besides, I want a gated community at the southern border, just like the gated community you and your family live in.

And don't forget; July 4 (when you made this statement) is the day Americans celebrate our independence from England. Now we need an independence day from Mexico. There are many days on the calendar that could be used to celebrate that.

I would contend that anyone who is not solidly, without any "wiggle room" opposed to the invasion of the US is the WORSE of the two evils if such a person is maneuvered into the nomination. Why? They're taking the place of what is supposed to be the opposition to the destruction of the US.

It's gotten pretty bad when hillary is the "lesser of two evils".

TRUMP/CRUZ or third party! (none of the others have defended the US)

Exactly!

Instead they coordinate and attack their own party.

For the most part I agree with your assessment.

Although I don't think Trump will take Cruz on this web site unless Cruz gets knocked out. Then maybe. It depends how Walker is doing?

I am thinking a Cruz/Trump 2016 ticket , or if Cruz some how gets dropped out of the Primaries...

Then a Trump/Cruz (to get the state of Texas and the rest of the South) presidency would be a great counter compare to the last 8 years of Obama.

Don’t forget that in 1988 Dukakis lost with 44% of the vote, while Clinton won in 1992 with 43%.

Which is why I will always hate that evil little creep Perot.

Trump was right when he said the illegal aliens Obama let in were bringing in crime, but you can’t talk about it because if you do, you’re racist.

Go Trump! We need somebody with the guts to tell America the truth and not back down.

I’m not even convinced Trump’s policy is solid, but the man is focusing on the number one and two problems facing this nation, and he’s doing in a manner that demands attention from the media.

What you said. James O'Keefe of project VERITAS said virtually the same thing: Don't react to the media, make them react to you. Trump is forcing a conversation about illegal invaders.

Yes I do. And I recall Perot “coming out” as a democrat right after my father passed in ‘96.
