Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% released a statement Friday night attacking rival Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for a statement made during his campaign announcement speech 16 days ago.
Rubio’s statement reads:
Trump’s comments are not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive. Our next president needs to be someone who brings Americans together – not someone who continues to divide. Our broken immigration system is something that needs to be solved, and comments like this move us further from – not closer to – a solution. We need leaders who offer serious solutions to secure our border and fix our broken immigration system.
The portion of Trump’s speech that has generated outrage amongst pro-amnesty liberal activists called out Mexico for the high number of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. southern border who go on to commit violent crimes against U.S. citizens.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” he said. “They’re sending people that have lots of problems… they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

So a bunch of people (a lot of them drug dealers, murderers, rapists and gang bangers) come here in violation of our laws, live off our welfare state, send their sick, unvaccinated kids to our schools, make all kinds of demands of our government (which they are granted), then they turn around and complain that the system is screwing THEM, and finally rally the elites in this country to shun anyone who dares criticize any of the above...

WTF is with all this immigatrion issue? You cross our border or over-stay you visas, deport! The laws are on the books in the national register.

This is turning out to be quite the acid test for our various candidates. I hope more come out and make their intentions and beliefs clear. So far it sounds like Ted Cruz is the only one with sense here on this critical issue, outsidd DT himself though of course...
There are things that need to be said - truths spoken regarding illegal immigration. The fact that Trump is the only one ringing this bell (and maybe Cruz, but not to this extent) is a sad commentary on our body politic.
