Our next president needs to be someone who brings Americans together

Huh?

Oh, now I get it Marco, you don't mean to bring the citizens of the United States together you mean people from all the Americas.

How ecumenical of you. Now we can have equal treatment of all the people from the Inuit's of northern Yukon to the Indians of Terra Del Fuego. Bring them all together, Mario, in the United States, and anoint them all with citizenship, let them vote, of course.

Let's see how that brings America together.

Maybe he means someone like Ronald Reagan. Not some reality TV queer.

nathanbedford: “Let’s see how that brings America together.”

I could be wrong, but I think I’m sensing a slight bit of sarcasm there...

When Rubio announced his candidacy for the presidency, he didn’t choose an historical iconic symbol that exalted America, but one that exalted HIS immigrant experience:

“Rubio’s soaring rhetoric and the venue he chose – the iconic Freedom Tower, known as the “Ellis Island of the South” – underscore the intensely personal nature of his campaign, an effort that’s as much about biography as it is about ideas and inspiration.”

When a politician emphasizes our “broken immigration system” rather than our “UNENFORCED immigration system” — that says all you need to know about that politician.
