President Obamas admission that some gang-bangers are crossing Americas southern border sparked a direct response from GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has been criticized for his remarks on illegal immigration during his official campaign announcement.
Mr. Trump has repeatedly provided additional context to his remarks from June 16th, 2015 during which he addressed the severely detrimental effects of illegal immigration and described some of the issues that are brought to the United States as a result, much like President Obama has done today, reads Trumps press release.
There are few occasions on which I agree with statements made by President Obama, however, his statement today reflects the serious problems associated with illegal immigration and the inability of politicians to secure our borders, Trump stated

I guess some crossing the border are gang-bangers but I would think most gang-bangers are second generation so to me Obama seems a little stupid in saying this.
Did I read somewhere that about a third of California’s prison population was born in Mexico?
What will Marcy’s do not.......... LOL
Okay! Mr. Trump you have my attention.
Well, well, well.
It appears Trump is right. Even Obama is calling a lot of the illegals
gang-bangers.
Apparently, Trump has hit a raw nerve, that democrats feel the need to
respond to.
It’s a shame the GOP sits silent on this issue.
If for each gang-banger there is just one future Democrat voter, it’s an acceptable price for the Democrats. If for each - say - four (to make a WAG) gang bangers that come in, one innocent person gets killed, it’s an acceptable price for Democrats.
Of course, if even one out of ten million visitors to Washington DC poses a threat to the President, we need a multi-billion dollar security apparatus as a response.
That is hysterical. Nobody turns it around and sends it back like the Donald.
Not a victory - but a very strong point was won in the debate. Admission that some of the illegal immigrants may be “gangbangers” is a major concession on the part of the Current Occupant, and it contains the kernel of truth, that we simply do not KNOW which of these members of the daily flood of scofflaws are just pulling a relatively harmless prank on the US authorities, which ones are actually looking for an improved economic opportunity, which ones are really fleeing an intolerable situation, and which ones are here with malice aforethought, wishing only mischief and mayhem upon Americans, either collectively or specific persons targeted.
Does this mean we are supposed to believe the Mexican cartels operating in the US come under the heading of gang bangers?
How is Trumps position different from 90% of the GOP Presidential
candidates?
Trump’s on fire. Can we see a scenario where we actually get behind this guy?
I see Ted Cruz is now trying to play catch-up with Trump.
Wasn’t it just a short time ago that the left was telling us that we had to let these illegal alien children into the country because the rape in their country was at 80% - and 8 out 10 little girls were going to be raped!!!!
Honduras was the scapegoat. Suddenly all that rape noise has disappeared.
Probably 80% of the "dangerous" prisoners.
Everyone will advocate for their candidate of choice until such time as Jim decides who FR is going to support.
That's probably 9 months or so away...after Super Tuesday is my best guess, certainly NLT the GOP convention.
Of course the common criticism of Trump is that he's not a conservative (probably true in the conventional sense) and that he's certain to suddenly crash headlong into a mountain...with spectacular effect.
That also may be true.
But, it's damn fun watching this guy operate. And until/unless he blows it all up I'll be cheering him.
Trump’s strength(at the moment) comes from the other clowns weakness.
So wondering if the Donald can now sue all the companies that are dumping him...because he was not the only one to say it and was not the first.......Well I hope he owns Mercy’s and all the others shortly
The elitist backstabbers who own DC and those with good intentions but sold out to them ARE NOT on the side of US citizens on this one. And that includes even those we thought of as on our side. Have any of them spoken up?
I have an outlier theory about why the manipulated bogus issue of the Confederate flag was brought up: Blacks and whites were coming to their disgust and shared grief over that horrific killing of worshippers in a Church. In order to break up that coming together and to control the agenda, the Confederate flag issue was invented. So now, instead of expressing grief we're arguing about the flag.
This fits because it's the political class and their paymasters who WANT invader labor, the more degraded the better. (cheaper, less demands) All US citizens, whatever their race, are mostly opposed to how it is destropying the US.
That wound has been scratched wide open. I'm wondering if it could readh a point where the arrogant out of touch elite will be best off heading for the hills!
