What Bible?
“The Rev. Bonnie Perry of Chicago, a lesbian married to a fellow Episcopal priest”
Hey everyone, I think I found the problem!
They obviously do not believe in the Bible. What is their religion based on?
Just wondering why Salt Lake City? Didn’t come to me that SLC is a “hot bed” of Episcopalianism! I mean that’s about as funny as a GOP Convention in Havana.
Ah yes. The Episcopalians and their 10 Suggestions.
Its almost Thursday. What took these guys so long?
Interesting - weddings at a church where you would not be able to read any scripture pertaining to marriage.
Sad. I’m pretty sure CS Lewis was Episcopalian.
That’s not a church, it’s a social club. If you’re a member of this denomination, run!
The sect was founded by a king... the needs of the State have priority over the word of God.
Of course they do.
Waiting on the state to give permission to minister to their own members might actually be more insane than accepting ‘gay marriage’ in the first place.
Freegards
Well, time for the High Church Anglicans to swim the Tiber, and the Low Church can break off on their own.
Leave the rotten core the wither on its own.
that didn’t take long. who’s next?
I guess it’s true that people choose to go to Hell.
Some Episcopal churches in Africa are trying to break away from the official body because of this issue. Of course there are some places in Africa where they are trying to apply the death penalty to gay sex practitioners, and want to send people to jail for 10 years for not reporting them, even a family member. Sounds kind of Nazi/Sharia to me.
They prayed and listened to the Supreme court?
Here's the Architect...
The Rev. Brian Baker of Sacramento chair of the committee that crafted the changes,
The Rev. Cynthia Black, right, and the Rev. Bonnie Perry, left, hug after Episcopalians voted to allow religious weddings for same-sex couples
Q. How do you know you’re in an *Episcopalian* church service?
A. Only half the congregation is kneeling! /ba-dum-tssssh>
The fight has not ended, its starting, he said. Those of us in the church who are 'loyal followers of Christ are going to remain firm in NOT recognizing what happened today.
