Minutes after Macy's announced it was severing business ties with Donald Trump, the real-estate mogul and GOP presidential candidate said it was his decision to leave Macy's.
Macy's and Trump cut ties in the days 700,000 people signed on to a petition calling for his ouster.
"I have decided to terminate my relationship with Macy’s because of the pressure being put on them by outside sources," Trump said in a statement provided by his campaign. "While selling Trump ties and shirts at Macy’s is a small business in terms of dollar volume, my principles are far more important and therefore much more valuable."
He also said he was upset that his shirts were made in China, saying he would "insist" that a future product line would be manufactured in the US.

NBC also cut ties with Trump recently after he called Mexican immigrants rapists and drug runners. Those comments stemmed from a speech in which he announced his intention to run for president.
Trump slammed both companies in the statement.
"I have always said that if you are successful, it is very hard to run for office, especially the office of President. I have also continually stated that I am not beholden to anyone and this includes NBC and Macy’s," he said. "Clearly, NBC and Macy’s support illegal immigration, which is totally detrimental to the fabric of our once great country."

To appease a small minority Obama is tearing this country apart.
Trump may have lots of money but he’s a piker compared to the puppet masters that control the establishment in DC, the Federal Reserve and Wall Street. I hope he survives their onslaught of personal destruction against him.
I believe he is doing it in order to destroy this country, not just to appease a small minority. But that is JMHO.

"Obama is using a small minority to tear this country apart."

Trump tells the truth....talk to Sheriff Paul in Yuma County, or Sheriff Joe up in Maricopa County or Sheriff Mark over in Cochise County....All good AZ sheriffs who will tell you the wording could have been different but Donald Trump was telling the truth......Trump attracts the liberal and not so liberal lightening rod press and pundits....Miss Geniality he ain't but the Donald doesn't talk around issues, he hits the truth about them dead center. Relax and enjoy the theater....he is a very good American.
Who would have predicted the tip o’the sword would be steered by Trump over a decade long vicious battle with no ENFORCEMENT in sight.
The facism statement with inclusive diversity spew is what got to me. That statement alone is worth ditching them.
Barry Goldwater was a true Conservative & patriot. Most at this venue know what Lyndon Johnson was. While I am not ready to endorse anyone for 2016, this "divorce," if anything makes Trump look considerably more acceptable.

That part of his empire should be shrinking soon. Other than Macy's he sells is stuff through amazon.com and overstock.com. I think overstock is about to get a big shipment.

I doubt it. He’ll start a web site and do fine. Stunned at how many Trump shirts are on ebay...new and used.
