Cop Buys Lemonade from a Little Girl...Returns the Next Day
Young Conservatives ^ | 6/25/15 | John S Roberts

Posted on 06/29/2015 8:49:54 AM PDT by Half Vast Conspiracy

Patrol Officer Zach Ropos of Ohio spotted a little girl selling lemonade, and decided to grab a drink. He talked with the girl for a few minutes, heard what she had to say about why she was raising money, and went about his business.

Ropos returned the very next day, and had this to say…

“I talked to the little girl, gave her a speech about how courageous and admirable I think her efforts were to save up her money. I asked her how much she saved up, and she said she only had a few dollars.” Initially the girl had more cash saved up, but lent it to her mother in order to fill the gas tank.

I think there are several reasons why someone would want to be LEO.
Desire to Protect and Serve
Looking for a relatively easy job
likes the idea of being a legal bully

There have always been the bullies and the donut connoisseurs. Hopefully there are still more than a few of the Protect and Serve ones around.

I read the title the other day and didn’t click on the story. I thought the same thing - that he went to look up the Code and came back the next day to shut her down.

We’ve become really jaded and cynical.

I thought the story was going to say the cop returned the next day with a court order shutting it down.

Turns out that old Andy was pretty easily-swayed by leftist lies.

Andy Griffith sure was. Sheriff Andy Taylor, not so much. That's the way I like to look at it anyway.

Unfortunately, the TV myth is what sells in America.

And why “star power” is wrecking the country.

You don’t get it, do you?

A police officer doing his job and just being a decent person should not be so remarkable that it rates a news story.

And I do not need to read about police abuse stories as I used to live them about once a month when I lived in California.

I don’t live there anymore.

I worked for a guy who used to stop at lemonade stands and give the kids a $20. I’ve tried continuing his tradition and honoring his memory.
