I read through a lot of angry messages about the Supreme Court in my email this morning. I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, we're stuck with Obamacare for now.
Simply put, elections have consequences. And right now we're suffering through the negative consequences of elections that took place almost ten years ago when Democrats took control of Congress.
But here's the good news: A Republican president and a Republican Congress CAN REPEAL OBAMACARE IN 2017!
And we can also CHANGE THE COURT!
The men and women we elect to the White House and the Senate nominate and confirm the judges who serve on our courts, including the Supreme Court.
Four justices of the Supreme Court are 76 years-old or older.
The odds are overwhelming that the next president we elect will fundamentally change the ideological balance of the Supreme Court.
This issue alone would be worth every effort you can possibly make and every dime you could possibly invest between now and next November to ensure that we take back the White House and hold the Senate!
A. There is a new justice to be appointed soon. Inevitable. That is soon enough.
B. The efforts to curb the Court will succeed. Some day!

Right. The Bushs’ did a great job nominating Ginsburg and Kennedy.
Souter, Kennedy, and Roberts. All nominated by Republicans, Bushes in particular.

Bauer is part of the problem. He promotes Republicans no matter whether they are conservative or not.
Reagan’s pick betrayed us.... as did justices from other Republican POTUS’
The Republicans hold the Senate and House and won’t use them.
Kennedy was appointed by Reagan after Bork and his second choice where not seated by the Senate. He was Reagan’s third choice and a complete unknown who LIED to those who vetted him for the post. Remember only Democrats are afforded the benefit of having their nominees seated. Republicans must always try to find someone who MAY be Conservative. Democrats, on the other hand, simply appoint the most Liberal lawyers they can find and the Republicans rubber stamp them.

Arkansas Senators rejected Bork and voted YEA on Elena Kagan. both senators.

Clinton nominated Ginsburg, and Kennedy was a Reagan nomination. The Bush’s have enough on their plate without crediting them with those two.
Even the pessimist will get his wish on that count!

No, they don't. We got this very bad Supreme Court with a majority of Republican appointees. Republicans got majorities beyond their wildest expectations, with voters expecting them to stop Obama's agenda. What did they do with those majorities? Support Obama on Obamatrade, when even his own party wouldn't.
We're worse off than we were before the Republicans had control of the US Senate. And a lot of very bad things got started when GWB had majorities in the HOR and US Senate.
The reason the US is now in this very steep decline is that elections no longer have consequences.
They can't. It's been obvious from the start that both parties agreed at the beginning of this Administration that "The Historic First Black President" cannot be corrupt, conniving, or dumb. "The Historic First Black President" cannot be anything but brave, bold, smart, and inspiring. His wife, too, and the kids.
Obama has been untouchable because both parties think his symbolism is untouchable. What would happen if "The Historic First Black President" was an amoral crook? Why then, generations of little black children would be disappointed and disenchanted.
Looking at things that way explains almost everything that's gone on in the last eight years.
I hope a real conservative gets elected to the Nevada Senate seat currently held by Dingy Dirty Harry.
