In recognition of the the Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage in the country and New York City Pride Week, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today he has directed that the lights on One World Trade Center’s 408-foot spire to shine in a rainbow on Sunday night.
In one of his top accomplishments as governor, Cuomo pressed the state Legislature in 2011 to legalize same-sex marriage, making New York the largest state in the nation to do so and leading other states to follow suit.
Cuomo’s statement:
“New York has been a leader in the fight for marriage equality, and today’s Supreme Court decision affirms what we have fought so hard for – that marriage is a fundamental right that should be afforded to everyone, regardless of whom they love.
When we passed the Marriage Equality Act in 2011, New York sent a message to the nation that it was time to end one of society’s greatest inequities, and I am thrilled to see the Court join us on the right side of history. Dividing people into first and second-class citizens is not only wrong, it runs contrary to who we are as a nation.
From Stonewall to Edie Windsor, New Yorkers have always been on the front lines of the fight to ensure equality and fairness for all. Today, we are proud New Yorkers and proud Americans. Today, progress marches on.”
I was thinking why it is we don’t have a day of celebration....we do THE FOURTH OF JULY!
Please get on social media... make sure red, white and blue are everywhere. I know they will plan to change the presence of our national flag. It is a challenge to all of the patriots. Please display your flags starting July 1st and pass on this message.
Also get on the white house website and request RED, WHITE and BLUE be displayed for the 4th of July!

The Rainbow used to be a beautiful symbol, now the homos have destroyed it. I can’t even look at a rainbow and have the same feeling I once had.
I feel the same about the word “gay”. We have gotten to a point where the word gay means only homosexual; it’s not even a word with a double meaning. Nobody uses that word based on its dictionary definition anymore.
It’s not just the suck. It’s the worship of fecal matter. It’s been posted here on FR. A long horribly-true article analyzing “the acts” in disgusting and accurate detail and how it all revolves around a love of and worship of fecal matter.
I was watching an episode of I Love Lucy a few days ago and Lucy used the word “Gay” to describe how happy she is..back then saying gay meant happiness, now it just means, well you know what it means

The way things are going, within a decade Muslims will be throwing gays off the WTC tower. Have you noticed? When civilization falls apart, it's not a gradual process. The billionaires of NYC will be the first ones to head to their secluded, protected fortresses and private islands when it all comes tumbling down.
I can relate. Once upon a time I was a Rainbow Girl. Now I can’t even I imagine donning my old beloved rainbow pin and ring. “And I do set my bow in the cloud...” For one time in my life, I hope the persons, etc. who have desecrated this symbol of God’s covenant get theirs.
Everyone, Cuomo?? So if father and daughter or any adult and a minor child love each other.... Oh forget it. My tagline applies now more than ever.

I urge you to rethink this. A real rainbow is a gift from God. A real rainbow is a natural phenomenon, not a phony construct such as gay marriage. A real rainbow is a thing of beauty, a gay marriage is not. Please for your own sake, do not conflate the two. Love real rainbows, as they are awe inspiring and worthy of your admiration.
Take refuge in your faith FRiend, that is their intention to "transform" this Country by changing all that was good.

Where did I learn that? Oddly on a tour in Grand Turk, conducted by a Jamaican history scholar. His hypothesis was that you can't civilize tribal environments without having an environment than involved marriage and family commitment, (paraphrasing)

You should be able to marry whomever you ‘love’, whoever he, she, it, or they might be.
I will try because rainbows are absolutely beautiful..after it rains all day you will sometimes see a rainbow on the horizon, its a beautiful sight..just stinks how the homo community used that beautiful symbol and turned it into what they did, its up to all of us to take it back

If you trace the trouble through US history you will see the signature of Democrat upon it.
And you can always ask God to bless that particular rainbow too (it’s real).
And the government has promoted same-sex marriage.
Look...I do not want it to happen..but wouldn’t it be ironic if another muslim group attacked the rainbow?
