So dedicated is Schellnhuber to this belief that he says the Gaia approach may even include the influence of biospheric activities on the Earths plate-tectonic processes. Not the other way around, mind you, where continental drift and earthquakes effects life, but where life effects earthquakes...

Now is the time to defend the Church...Says a lot...
Quite different from:
The Word of God is like a lion. You don't have to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself.
Charles Spurgeon.

One thing that stands out, the blasting of Mary by a lot of christian religious people.I just hate when that happens!
The Roman Catholic Church has turned the beautiful, blessed lady of Scripture into an asexual, frigid Jewish wife; who withheld her favors from Joseph for no rational reason.

It’s never the right question if holiness is your goal.
Holiness is never determined by comparison.

So; you, like verga, think the bible is NOT adequate to get a person saved and on his/her way to heaven? There are 1 billion illiterate people in the world today.
Illiteracy The Bad News and the Good
Are they all damned?
How are they supposed to learn about Jesus?
Christ's Church teaches that non-Christians can be saved, so certainly independent Bible-readers can be saved.
But these paths are not a sure norm for salvation. Most Christians have never read the entire Bible. And what person could derive the Trinity without assistance from other Christians? The Bible isn't perspicacious.
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

You would think that a belief in God would be a job requirement to work at the Vatican. Why would anyone there even consider hiring an Atheist?

Actually, sheeperals’ primary driving motivation is the sense of lack of righteousness.
But, they attempt to fill that gap with the wrong things - mostly their own perception of how much they care.

He seems a bit confused on the subject.

You know how to copy and paste, other than that, your response is irrelevant. So, I rest my case - You're a loony!
Don't bother responding 'cause I'm not reading it.

Ya freakin' nutter.Have you secret desires to become a MORMON?
Office of First President & Living Prophet®: December 11st, 2011 URGENT!
Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!
I've been getting lots of feedback from those of you on Free Republic (spit) about a certain Colorfornicator (or something like that), who is REALLY giving us a hard time there.
Why not try to point out to the uninformed how OBSESSED he seems to be.
Let's see if we can tangle him up so much trying to defend his reputation that he'll no longer have as much time to post facts about MORMONism.
As always, Tommy M.

They elected this guy pope the same way that Americans elected a Marxist Muslim president just a few years after the 9/11 attacks.
