Hillary Clinton said she would vote against the "Fast Track" trade bill passed by the House on Thursday if she were still in the Senate, unless she was "absolutely confident" trade adjustment assistance would be provided.
Clinton's comment that she would not approve "Fast Track," which is a tool for negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, came during an interview with Jon Ralston on Thursday night, following her appearance at the NALEO conference in Las Vegas, Nev.
"At this point, probably not because it's a process vote and I don't want to say it's the same as TPP," Clinton said. "Right now, I'm focused on making sure we get trade adjustment assistance and I certainly would not vote for it unless I were absolutely confident we would get trade adjustment assistance."

Time for some clarity on TPA/TPP. They are not the same thing.
They are the same in that a vote for TPA enables Obamatrade/TPP. Thanks to fine conservatives like Gowdy and Cruz, the passage of TPP (Top Secret) is now guaranteed in the Senate with only 51 votes required to pass it.

It's madness to give up that 66% approval threshold in the Senate for a simple up or down vote that requires only 50% voting yes. this means Obama and 3rd world Muslim dictators can in secret negotiate a USA destroying treaty or “trade” agreement and then bring that up to the congress for a simple up or down vote . that is madness and I will never support that. And i heard also it gives up debate, and amendments which are all part of the process which opposition to an awful "trade" (immigration ) treaty could be stopped.
this fast track basically makes most of these treaties unstoppable in the congress. it's much easier to pass and Obama mandate with only 50% up or down vote with no amendments allowed. this is why they call it fast track or trade promotion authority it's to make it easy for Obama to pass treaties that override USA laws. If a senator sessions would be allowed to add an amendment then debate would go on and it would be stopped maybe because of the amendment. this is the destruction of America . period. It's simple really: Obama cannot be given more power

I’ve read everything I can on TPA/TPP. It’s quite disappointing to see Team Cruz continue with the half truths and dissembling in support of TPA/Obamatrade/TiSA, TTIP, etc.
BTW, why is the Cruz campaign saying TPP is “not complete” when the Australian trade minister said TPP is basically done and only one week of negotiations are left:
“We are literally one week of negotiation away from completing this extraordinary deal across 12 countries and 40 per cent of the world’s GDP,” said Andrew Robb, Australia’s trade minister.
Again I say, why the heck would you even need worker aid or retraining if they weren’t selling out.
