Why Donald Trump should not be taken seriously or included in the debates

Donald Trump, in his own words…

Trump on Health Care “We must have universal healthcare,” Trump wrote in his book, “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one.” In an interview earlier this year he continued to applaud single payer health care systems used in other countries.

Trump on Taxes “I would impose a one-time, 14.25% tax on individuals and trusts with a net worth over $10 million,” Trump said. “For individuals, net worth would be calculated minus the value of their principal residence. That would raise $5.7 trillion in new revenue, which we would use to pay off the entire national debt.”

Trump on Trade Trump has called for “a 20% tax for importing goods,” and a “Twenty-five percent tax on China, unless they behave.”

Trump on Eminent Domain When asked about the 2005 case Kelo v. City of New London, that allowed economic development to be a legitimate reason for government to exercise eminent domain, Trump told Fox News (7/19/05), “I happen to agree with it 100 percent.” Trump was unsuccessful in his own attempt to have officials in New Jersey use eminent domain to condemn a home on property he wanted to buy for part of his hotel and casino.

He will promise Republicans what they want to shut up and support him and once in office he will do whatever moves him.

You just described 99% of Republican candidates over the last 27 years.

Somebody who has accomplished something and not beholden to anybody.

A conservative who is not beholden to anybody, wouldn't donate money to Democrats.

H Ross Trump.

The goddam Clinton’s and their minions have to be estatic at the prospect of the peel-off conservatives effectively voting in Hillary Clinton as she sets out to begin her third Reich.

Let’s not let the Clinton’s do this yet again... Got to avoid voting in Hillary with your vote for H Ross Trump.

His donations to dems. etc.

According to Open Secrets, over the last two election cycles, 100% of his contributions went to republican candidates and PACs.

I don’t know, he might liven up the Democrat debates.

He could win as a Democrat. He makes more sense and is less of a clown than Sanders, Chafee, O'Malley or Clinton. Too bad he's a Republican.

"Curious that a supposedly conservative group wants to effectively censor Trump."

Considering that Trump is a liberal, not so much, really.

I’m not part of a smear campaign :)

I think he would have been a great mayor for NYC where he could have won. But he left us with this nightmare.

NYC could accept all of his faults and past comments and his hubris.

But I cant see it working at the national level.

And what does he do once people start asking “did you really mean @@@ when you said it.”

like single payer, one time 15 percent tax, dems are better presidents for the economy...etc.

But I will admit he is going to force the China issue to be addressed. That’s one good thing. And the border.

C’mon.

Trump was heavily invested in areas which were predominantly under the control of the Democrat party.

He gave more to Republicans. And he is strongly for bringing back jobs to America.

He is for Americans. And he is a Republican. He is for building a wall to keep out illegal immigrants (I am all for that). He is for being tough on Chinese imports, until they play fair with us (I am all for that).

Trump is for bringing back American jobs. (I am all for that).

I cannot think of one single issue, on which I oppose Trump. And I certainly cannot think of another person currently running for higher office, as right on so many important issues, as Donald Trump is.

My suggestion has been, and continues to be, that someone else should COMPETE with Trump’s ideas.

But no. He is being handed the next presidency.

Not that I object. I just am surprized nobody else is saying the things he is saying very strongly.

There is Trump on one side. Speaking out for America.

Then there is every other person running, in either party. Trying to sell out America in yet another fashion.

That is (sort of) an exhaggeration. But then again, it really is completely accurate.

Trump is the only person, who is saying we need to rebuild our own country.

I am all for that.

The whole point is to give the gloBULList asswipes that run multinational corporations pause the next time the decide to cut American about of the manufacturing equation. Maybe they’ll choose to manufacture in a R-T-W sate instead.

"By the time the conservative who were duped remember how to use google and figure out that Trump is left of Hillary, his mission (to push Cruz off the stage) will have been completed."

You're more optimistic than I when you say Trump's fans might use google to learn the truth about him.

Hell, some of us have been putting it out here for days, and now there it is from Club for Growth. But they just don't want to hear it.

Yep. He’s going to build the wall, and make Mexico pay for it.

Like I said in my other post, for NYC mayor i would have voted for him.

Not for pres. But he will make things a little more interesting :)

But I dont want a single payer health system. If he thinks it is better, he is wrong. I know people that have horror stories.
