Why Donald Trump should not be taken seriously or included in the debates

Donald Trump, in his own words…

Trump on Health Care “We must have universal healthcare,” Trump wrote in his book, “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one.” In an interview earlier this year he continued to applaud single payer health care systems used in other countries.

Trump on Taxes “I would impose a one-time, 14.25% tax on individuals and trusts with a net worth over $10 million,” Trump said. “For individuals, net worth would be calculated minus the value of their principal residence. That would raise $5.7 trillion in new revenue, which we would use to pay off the entire national debt.”

Trump on Trade Trump has called for “a 20% tax for importing goods,” and a “Twenty-five percent tax on China, unless they behave.”

Trump on Eminent Domain When asked about the 2005 case Kelo v. City of New London, that allowed economic development to be a legitimate reason for government to exercise eminent domain, Trump told Fox News (7/19/05), “I happen to agree with it 100 percent.” Trump was unsuccessful in his own attempt to have officials in New Jersey use eminent domain to condemn a home on property he wanted to buy for part of his hotel and casino.

I’m not decided in favor of Trump, by the way. Walker looks better to me. But when a political special interest group starts calling names and squawks for censoring a candidate, it telegraphs its nature as being full of chickens.

Any billionaire that needs to go on a TV show for ego gratification is a very, very dangerous man. His psychological profile is very much like Bill Clinton, a pathological liar with an inferiority complex the size of many Third World countries. He will ask and demand the tough questions of others but not of himself. You watch, he will be the first dropout of the race.

If he didn’t have money no one would pay attention to anything he said. He would be poor, bedraggled, in torn clothes needing a shave and still tell everyone in listening distance how he could save the world.

Post 9 is brutal. I believe you’re a conservative and happen to like what he says. but he’s said SO MANY wrong things. And if he says he didn’t mean it, how do we know he means it now.

maybe he’ll damage jeb. that would be good.

One thing is certain, they won't be competing for the conservative vote. ;-)

Trump does have good points, including that he likes America, but he’s too erratic and reckless for what should be a thoughtful job.

Excellent. Go Trump. Somebody who has accomplished something and not beholden to anybody.

He was also proudly pro abortion up until recently (yeah aint that convenient)

Face it, Trump is hoping everyone (especially Cruz supporters) forgets how Google works just long enough to keep Cruz out of the debates.

He flooded conservative forums everywhere recently with Fast Track BS knowing that Cruz is sympathetic to free trade (as is nearly everyone else running by the way)

The object was to magically turn a vote for fast track (which has been basically rubber stamped for decades) into a issue of monumental importance, enough alone in fact to disqualify a candidate from consideration by any real conservative.

Then his minions were to attack Cruz relentlessly and only Cruz over this made up issue (even though nearly all the other candidates also support it) while simultaneously posting glowing articles about how strong Trump is on this issue of massive importance (all just made up on the fly of course)

This need only work long enough to allow Trump to get just enough traction to push ahead of Cruz in the polls and hopefully help to push him off the stage completely (which was the goal all along)

By the time the conservative who were duped remember how to use google and figure out that Trump is left of Hillary, his mission (to push Cruz off the stage) will have been completed.

Curious that a supposedly conservative group wants to effectively censor Trump.

Censorship is something a government does not a private group. Curious that a conservative doesn't know that.

And he has said enough things wrong to make Killary the next President. Thank you for your contribution.

That is all.

That’s brutal?

C’mon. You guys can mix it up better than that, I know you can.

:D

(I’m pretty enthused we now have an actual American jobs presidential candidate)

American jobs.

Who would ever imagine, they would become an issue once again, and at the behest of someone so uniquely qualified to do something about it.

This is a very good day, in America.

I don’t know how the election will develop, or who will eventually win, but it is great to get America workers into the debate.

This election is going to be very, very interesting.

He sure as hell doesn’t understand manufacturing.

His import tariff would increase the cost of nearly all non perishable items because very few things in this country are manufactured using all American made parts.

When I made Cadillac parts they were sent to Livonia and assembled into cars using major parts from Mexico and Canada with electronics coming from a half dozen other countries.

Just because you say a few things that are TRUE.....
DOES NOT mean you’re NOT delusional.. (or believe what you just said)..

Did Club for Growth say why they don’t want Trump in the debates? (Link? Thx.)

Here is the one question I would ask Trump to gauge whether he’s really serious or not.

Who do you want in your Cabinet, and how confident are you that you could get them to work for you?

I think he should be welcomed in the debates personally. He definitely adds character and keeps things interesting. And I like what he has to say about Mexico and China. He’s an American nationalist. I like that.

Lets tear them all down, and leave nothing standing.... until Hillary is the victor. I might as well go ahead and vote for her... because nobody else on the other side will work. All of the candidates on the Republican/Conservative side, has “something wrong” that just will not work.
