On Adam Carollas Friday podcast, syndicated Salem radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt made an appearance to promote his new book, The Queen: The Epic Ambition of Hillary and the Coming of a Second Clinton Era.
During that appearance, Carolla asked Hewitt about his thoughts on Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and if at this stage in her career it was possible for her to put off a better vibe to make her more appealing to the public.
Hewitt acknowledged Clintons age, but added that he thought she would win the presidency in 2016.
Shes 67, Hewitt said. Shell be 69 if she wins and I think she will the presidency.
Later in that segment, Hewitt, who is slated to be a moderator in one of the upcoming Republican presidential primary debates, elaborated on why took that position. According to Hewitt, the deck is stacked against the Republican candidate because of the Electoral College and Clinton he said was awfully smart and would formidable financially.
I wrote The Queen because the advice, if she takes it, shell win, he explained. So if I put it on the table, maybe she wont take it because the Electoral College is so freaking against the Republicans. And so, we have to nominate the perfect ticket. They have to make a lot of mistakes. The Jets did beat the Colts, right in Super Bowl III. So, its possible.

Hugh must think Jeb will be the nominee.
Run Jeb Bush and the prediction will come true.
There is no “hope he is wrong” about it. He IS wrong. He is hardly ever right. Not sure why he is a moderator at the debates. He is a pretty crappy interviewer.
Just saying.
Didn’t he write a Romney book and predict a Romney win last time? He’s sort of a wonk.
well, he predicted last time around that Romney was going to beat Obama so he doesn’t have a good track record on predictions. So what is he going to be doing on his radio show interviewing candidates, etc. if he just thinks Hillary is going to win? What’s the point?
Same guy who wrote a book not long ago predicting a “permanent Republican majority.” Wobbly GOPe Rovian RINO.
I hope your days are numbered at Salem. You have done good work in the past, but you have lost your way. And please lay off of Duane, it is not funny anymore and at some point I hope you will realize it. I am not holding my breath. Hugh, the joke is on you; those glasses are awful thick.

Why is oracle Hewitt correct? Because he wrote a book about it, that’s why.
Why do you think 2016 will be “close”? HRC starts out with 240 electoral votes in the bag without lifting a finger.
"She's 67," Hewitt said. "She'll be 69 if she wins and I think she will -- the presidency." Later in that segment, Hewitt, who is slated to be a moderator in one of the upcoming Republican presidential primary debates, elaborated on why took that position. According to Hewitt, the deck is stacked against the Republican candidate because of the Electoral College and Clinton he said was "awfully smart" and would [be] formidable financially. She won't even be the nominee. I say that with a particle of doubt of course, because like most of us, I remember those drama-queen letters the partisan media shills recounted in puff pieces -- elementary schoolkids were given the 'assignment' of writing to the Clinton White House by no-doubt non-partisan NEA members, and they begged Slick to "give Hillary more power" to impose various decrees, such as Hillarycare. Those misled inexperienced kids are now in their 30s somewhere, and possibly no less gullible now. Hillarycare was a political dead-end, even a disaster, and after the Demagogic Party lost congressional control in 1995, Gingrich led us nowhere, produced a temporarily balanced budget (but no bb amendment, no term limits, basically almost nothing from the Contract with America -- btw, NEVER AGAIN Newt), and we spent two and a half years or so waiting for impeachment and removal of Slick. Meanwhile Gore was running an illegal operation to selectively naturalize foreign Latinos and setting up his later path to an illicit fortune.
Wish I had the guts to put that on my car!
the polls are very close in swing states and even though I know a lot of people don’t like the polls on this board they haven’t been that wrong in past presidential elections. if Ted Cruz who is this supposed extremist is within a few points of her in some swing states, there is hope. I don’t think blacks will turn out for her the way they did for Obama.
But even if Cruz did everything right as a conservative it seems doubtful he could unite pubs and conservatives and get nominated. That makes it more likely that Hillary will face some moderate RINO who has been beaten up by the other dwarfs. What a wasted opportunity since Hillary is definitely beatable by the right candidate who will take her on.
The low-info voters, ie all Democrats, dont care about her scandals or lack of accomplishments. You will not convince them not to vote for her. You can only hope that our base turns out completely.

Every Conservative who ‘stayed home’ because their candidate did not get nominated, voted ‘write in’ or ‘third party’ helped put the monster we now have in office- not once but twice.
We must stand behind the Republican candidate- whoever it may be, or Hillary is in.
I didn’t care for our candidates, but they were all we had.
I voted for what we had to choose from.
Do you really think McCain or Romney even with all their faults would have destroyed America the way Hussian has?
.
So Hewitt has gone from all these years of promoting Mormonism and Mitt Romney, to promoting Hillary Clinton.
It makes sense. Isn’t he a Roman Catholic that has millions of people thinking that he is a Presbyterian?
Your numbers are probably correct and this is what kills us. The 'Rats don't have to spend a dime, probably don't even have to campaign in, and they'll still have CA, NY, IL, MN, MA, PA, MD, RI, VT, CT, DE, OR, WA, HI, and probably NM, NV, MI, and WI. No one who is leaning towards or committed to Hillary will care about her scandals and other shortcomings. The female parts trumps those. Unless we get someone with national recognition and broad-based appeal, the numbers just aren't there. I'd love to be wrong about that come election night, but it sure looks like an uphill slog at this point.
Hewitt jumped the shark with Harriett Myers, and he has been out there ever since. He even wrote a book for Mitt Romney. Who cares what this out of touch establishment RNC guy thinks?
If the RINOs are liberals (no question about that), then obviously a Hillary win is no defeat for them but another victory for the Uniparty.
