A day after the parents of Rachel Dolezal, the President of the Spokane Chapter of the NAACP, said she has been misrepresenting herself as black for years, the NAACP says they are standing by Dolezal.
In a statement released Friday, the organization said:
"For 106 years, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has held a long and proud tradition of receiving support from people of all faiths, races, colors and creeds. NAACP Spokane Washington Branch President Rachel Dolezal is enduring a legal issue with her family, and we respect her privacy in this matter. One's racial identity is not a qualifying criteria or disqualifying standard for NAACP leadership. The NAACP Alaska-Oregon-Washington State Conference stands behind Ms. Dolezal's advocacy record. In every corner of this country, the NAACP remains committed to securing political, educational, and economic justice for all people, and we encourage Americans of all stripes to become members and serve as leaders in our organization.
Hate language sent through mail and social media along with credible threats continue to be a serious issue for our units in the Pacific Northwest and across the nation. We take all threats seriously and encourage the FBI and the Department of Justice to fully investigate each occurrence."

I don’t have a single problem with this woman’s choice to change her physical appearance, but it was wrong of her to deceive others into believing that she was born black.
Two of my grandparents were born black, but you’d never know it, just looking at them. They never once considered trying to fool anyone that they were white, though they could have easily passed for white if they’d wanted to.
Honesty. It’s the only issue I have with this woman.
So sex is a fluid social construct, but sexual orientation is biologically immutable, and race is an immutable social construct.
Someone want to run the progressives’ logic behind that?
Is that for real? Well if it is, that’s another example that birth certificates can be forged like the one of the current occupant in the White house.

If the President of the United States, Obama, can get away with:
1. Claiming that his father is a black man from Kenya, and
2. Claiming that his mother is a white woman from Kansas,
3. When a lot of people argue that the evidence proves that the above statements are not true, and,
4. Obama won't submit to DNA tests to prove his true ethnic background,
5. Then I suppose anything is possible, for instance, I guess a white woman can start claiming that she is black, when her birth certificate, family childhood pictures, and her parents testimony prove that says she is white.
