Gov. Scott Walker (Wis.) is open to the idea of teaming up with Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) on a GOP presidential ticket, he told Bloomberg on Thursday.
I do like Marco Rubio, I think he and I have similar thoughts on national defense and foreign policy, Walker, who is weighing a 2016 run, said in an interview on Bloomberg's With All Due Respect.
Asked by Bloombergs Mark Halperin if he would be open to announcing in December that the two of them would run as a ticket, and settle who would be the nominee for president and vice president later, Walker replied that some supporters had pitched that idea.
I've actually had quite a few people, grassroots supporters, donors, and others, who have made that suggestion, Walker said.
For now, you know, Marco is a quality candidate. He's going to be formidable in this race as things progress. And if we were to get in, we'd be as well, and we'll see where things take us.
He added that he and Rubio have joked that people mention the two possibly pairing up and said they would likely have to arm wrestle over who would be top of the ticket."

Oh I know. I’m not going to vote for anyone but Cruz. I just want American sovereignty
I’ll look at the video
Sounds as if Walker would be content to be VP with Rubio. It looks as if he doesn’t have the fire in his belly to be POTUS.
Agree and Walker’s not even my first choice. People need to grow the heck up.
It’s early, there’s a lot of campaigning left to be had. Cruz is a top 3 seed you can’t convince me that Jeb, Trump, Carson or Rubio will be in the top 2 come Iowa. So far it’s a Cruz and Walker race.
Is Cruz also part of the same elites? Cruz wants to increase foreign workers on H-1B visa five fold. Cruz also is against deporting the 11 million illegals.
Cruz / West would be good.
Can you post some link which will confirm Governor Walker wants “Open Borders”? Thanks you. But I won’t hold my breath. I promise!
Paul Ryan blurted out “You can read what is in that bill after we pass it”! It was on Drudge this morning.
I will be interested to see the polling, later on, from the Republican block of senior voters, who do all the Republican voting, come rain or come shine, especially in the primary.
Who are they willing to vote for? Do they want Jeb? Are they open to a new generation, like young Rubio? Cruz and/or Walker?
Where is the Rubio support coming from? I would be interested to see polling on that, also. Is it the younger voter, or the Florida voters, or moderate voter? He seems to be running Jeb Bush a real race, for sure.
Yep. I saw it on Drudge, and on thread(s), here.
Wonderful, we get two amnesty pimps.

Come on folks. Cruz can’t win. Think big picture. Walker, Rubio, Forino. Combine any of the three for P and VP and we have a ticket that can win.
Hope a lot of people watched Carly’s interview on Fox earlier. Incredibly articulate lady.

I'll bite.
At the very end of Jeff Kuhner's radio show today, he had *just* gotten a text from the Cruz campaign, with positive acknowledgement of Cruz's TPA problem, and that Ted would be on the show to answer questions (or be convinced to change his mind).
That's about as positive as I can be about it...
You are a true Cruz-bot.
When Cruz comes out and says something nice about Rubio, how will you walk this back?
Some of you Cruz supporters are frighteningly too similar to Obama supporters.
There are still a few choices. I will see. I don’t trust people who give my country away.
You are a true Walker-bot.
“When Cruz comes out and says something nice about Rubio, how will you walk this back?”
Cruz has said nice things about everyone. But he isn’t saying he will put Rubio in VP slot. How are YOU going to walk this back?
Some of you Walker open-border supporters are frighteningly too similar to Obama supporters.
Could be the youthful looks & smile?
