Vice President President Joe Biden announced the passing of his son, Beau Biden, in a statement released by the White House.
"It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life," reads the statement from Vice President Biden.
"The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us—especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter.

Believe me when I say it is the absolute hardest thing a parent goes through. My daughter died in 2004 and her birthday is June 2. It never gets easier. RIP, Beau.
Very sad. May he RIP and peace be upon the family. Doesn’t matter who....losing a child must be incredibly painful.
Exactly. There are a lot of legit criticisms for Joe, but that’s for another time.

Didn’t joe have a brain tumor removed when he was younger? I know he had some kind of brain surgery.
46 is too young to die these days and brain cancer is an especially nasty way to go.

That’s sad..I am no fan of Joe Biden but losing a child is the worst thing in the world that can happen to someone. You never want to bury your child..condolences to the Biden family

If it has not happened to you, you cannot believe how bitter you can feel toward the person(s) responsible..We lost our firstborn 19 years ago....to a kid who just got his permit to drive the week before his speeding killed our son....
Had it been cancer, we would probably accepted it much better..
