iCarly and the RNC Pseudo-candidates

iCarly and the RNC Pseudo-candidates

I hope people realize iCarly is full on GOPe RNC and her role is to aid GOPe candidates.

As RNC talent, she is better than most. She is articulate,  concise, intelligent.

But don't think we can trust her long term any more than we can trust Prince Rebus, Boner or Mitchie-poo.

iCarly is not the only strategic pseudo-candidate.

Why would Huckabee run other than to dilute support for Ted Cruz.

It's win win win for GOPe, Huckabee and Fox  Huckabee gets to help Cruz lose and then gets to go back to Fox as a two time Republican Presidential Candidate.

Similarly, why would Lindsey Graham run other than to dilute support for Cruz in South Carolina, a state where Cruz could get some good traction.

iCarly was recruited to dilute support for Palin just in case she ran, same for Bachman or any other potential conservative female candidate.

RNC media allies, Fox and Salem, play a large role in this in coordinating the narrative and promoting these pseudo-candidates, especially Fiorina and Graham.

Salem has now scored a coup in terms of being able to control the GOP debates with erstwhile PBS host Hugh Hewitt, Salem über-GOPe talk show host, as moderator.

This poses about as many ethical problems as does Stephanopolous' association with Presidential debates given Hewitt's close association with the RNC promotion machine and Hewitt's status as Mitt Romney hagiographer.

This is all fine in that they have every right to do these things. I wish they were more honest about it.

But if we know and understand what they are doing we ought not be fooled and we can keep focused on getting Ted Cruz nominated, or Scott Walker.

Realize the narrative will continue, from MSM and RNC media. Ted Cruz is too extreme and, as Cruz pointed out the other day, crazy.

Scott Walker will be hit from the other side with the smears being that he is too establishment, wishy-washy, a sell out.

So just know what is going on, how it works in spin nothing is real optics-land.

I do believe we can appreciate certain things GOPers have done or might do, including Fiorina, Hewitt, Medved and others. They are not Democrats and do not have nothing to be commended for.

Yet, politically they are poison and always lead to loss and defeat. Don't let them do it to us this time around.

“If she starts talking about actual conservative principles, and things like securing the border and ending Obamacare... THEN she’ll be stopped. >>> By the RNC. <<<”

See if that happens.

Before she ran for Senate in California in 2010, supported by Rove money, she was Republican National Committee Fundraising Chair.

GOPe fully supported her in 2010 and she and RNC produced some very nasty stuff against her more independent or conservative opponents in the primary.

Funny, earlier you said that wasn't a bad, or denigrating thing to accuse her of:

I don’t consider it denigration to point out she is GOP establishment.

"http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3294317/posts?page=52#52" I don’t consider it denigration to point out she is GOP establishment.

“and don’t fool yourself, Walker and Cruz are plenty Establishment themselves...”

Of course.

Anyone who is successful at such a level is to one degree or another.

It’s politics.

Same in big time business. There are realities.

iCarly is a nick name for Carly Fiorina, being in the IT industry for a while.

I have worked in tech for close to 30 years. Of those, 25 @ HP including all the Carly years. I have never heard this term before. Even by people who didn't like her.

You sound like a WFR "awardee" with an axe to grind.

You just keep exposing yourself. In obtuseness and GOPe shilling.

There is no chance of winning the presidential election without moderate GOP votes. => No Chance <=

Normally in a Senate or House race I would just as soon a Democrat get elected than a Rino like Lindsay Graham — so the rino doesn’t get entrenched. But not in a Presidential race.

“How is she part of the establishment GOP?”

Also, she was RNC finance chair and she was Mitt Romney for President Co-Chair.

It’s ridicule. A well known liberal activist recommended using this technique in a book he wrote.

I will vote for the first candidate who spends most of his/her time in the debates detailing for us what he/she is going to do to rein in the federal government and bring it back under the controls established by the United States Constitution.

Your Carly attacks appear to be a veiled attempt at defending HELLry.

Here's some truth serum from the CEO of Intel for you, William Jefferson...

“Today, HP is a stronger company because of Carly Fiorina’s bold action. Certainly some of this credit goes to current management, who capitalized on the changes Carly made. But it was Carly who shook up the status quo. She engineered the merger. She restructured the combined company. She positioned HP to gain market share, and she deserves credit for standing up to the naysayers and critics to achieve the positive end result.” - Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel

Someone who has been in IT for a while would have worked for HP or knows someone who has worked for HP. It is a well known term in the industry with all of the WFR activity from the past decade from things like the Compaq and EDS mergers.

If you aren't familiar enough with HP to know this term, which is used in business and trade articles and not just in the company, maybe, just maybe, you don't know as much as you think about Carly.

Interesting RNC talking points. You are not the first to say this ludicrous narrative.

Interesting how you come out and expose yourselves.

You make no sense.

It was funny because earlier others were trying to belittle me by saying I must be a victim of HP lay offs.

So, doomed if I do, doomed if I don’t.

I do know Fiorina was a co-Chair of Romney 2012 and in the primaries pushed the GOPe narrative that he was the only candidate that could beat Obama.

I’m sure you know that too.

“You sound like a WFR “awardee” with an axe to grind.”

I now understand this comment.

It’s interesting in that I mentioned nothing about HP or her business past.

I do point out her strong association to RNC and the Romney (and McCain for that matter) campaigns that brought us nothing but defeat.

I guess it is easier for you to attack straw men.

It's simple: you claim to have such a detailed understanding of Carly that you can discern her motives.

Yet in reality you either have a personal vendetta driving your behavior, ignorance of the person you are attacking, or both.

There is simply not enough of a track record for her in the political field to drive your obsessive attacking.
