WASHINGTON – Internal State Department emails in the aftermath of the Benghazi terror attack show then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received detailed information indicating the strike was planned by well-trained fighters, yet her office continued to push the narrative days later that it began "spontaneously."
The messages were among 296 emails released Friday by the State Department, in the first batch of emails to be made public from Clinton's tenure as secretary of state. Totaling 896 pages, the emails show a series of Libya dispatches Clinton received from a confidant, as well as the barrage of messages among her and her aides after Sept. 11, 2012.
Those messages depict the rapidly changing understanding of what happened at the U.S. compound that night, and the administration's internal struggle to settle on a public narrative.

I am of the opinion that the Benghazi hit was a set up by the POTUS and Dept of State from the beginning.
The way I see it, the entire thing was to cause a transfer of intel and a hostage to the jihadiscum. The hostage was meant to provide cover for the POTUS exchanging Gitmo detainees of high value for the hostage, a role that Bergdahl provided after the Benghazi deal went wrong. The intel transfer was simply aiding allies in the war against the west.
The entirety of events leading up to the attack can’t be explained any other way. The consistent refusal to upgrade the defensive structures at that site. The refusal to allow responsible organizations to respond to the attack. The use of the site, which was as far away as functionally possible for aid in the event of an attack. The organized manner of the attack. Etc and so on and so forth.
She’ll still get away with it. It’s gotten to the point that there are those who must follow the law and those who are above the law. The elites are running the show. And it is a show Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland would be proud of.
There is a sneaky problem with unclassified information; put too of it in one place, and the totality of it becomes classified:

Stevens was nearly killed in Tripoli at the gate of the embassy, when a car tried to ram it and squish him in between. It was just a few days before Benghazi.
And there was an attack on the Benghazi compound a few months earlier, while Stevens was there I believe, that left a hole in the wall surrounding the property. And the attack on a British diplomat’s convoy in June 2012.
If I listed all of the attacks, threats and requests for security prior to the attack of Sept. 11th my post would take a minute to scroll past and I would have carpal tunnel from typing it.
Found it. There used to be pictures. Stevens was in them, to the left of the car, by the embassy gate there in Tripoli.

In an unfortunate fatal accident on Tuesday, a Libyan guard was reportedly crushed to death by the entrance gate of the US embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. The incident occurred when the gate lethally dislodged from its pathway and fell on the guard.
The embassy, which is located in Walie Al-Ahed road in the Sidi Slim area, has a large, heavy gate that bars the entrance and is manned by guards for security measures.
The gate is intended to be controlled mechanically, however due to damages allegedly sustained by the mechanism, the gate has to be manually opened and shut by the security guards throughout the day.
A spokesman for Ambassador Stevens contacted by The Tripoli Post said: “The employee was a valued member of the embassy who served the embassy with courage, dedication and distinction. We have conveyed our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to his family and friend.Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”
The official details of the incident, including the identification of the victim, were not released by the embassy.
However, sources told The Tripoli Post that the accident occurred at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday in the presence of several witnesses, including three Libyan guards and two American embassy employees, as well as the ambassador himself.
An investigation into the victim’s death is currently being carried out. The question is being raised as to the safety of the facility. The embassy has apparently offered some form of compensation to the victim’s family.
Sources have said that the parts needed to repair the gate’s mechanical system were ordered a year ago but have still not arrived.
Whether the embassy intends to take future safety measures regarding the gate remains unclear, however health and safety concerns for the security employees continue to be an issue.”

Remember, the US evacuated the Tripoli embassy at one point, and Al Qaeda took it, laying around the pool and having a great time.

I’d noticed right before Benghazi that the Red Cross and Canadians had pulled out of Libya. I remember thinking that they had to know something. No one bothers the Canadians much.
If she ever gets to the Oval Office, she will stroke out in three months.

My guess is that she doesn’t make it to 2016 before she is out of the race. Then the Dems scramble like hell to come up with their “Bobby Kennedy”
I think 0bama had arranged to free the Blind Sheikh, with cover of Stevens being taken captive and traded. It was supposed to be all on the up and up, but demonstrate foreign skills in the run up to the 2012 election-which I believe was stolen, but that’s another story. Anyway, I think the Dems knew 0bama was in trouble and ‘made a phone call.’
These people never watched “Patriot Games.” NE Libya has been a practice area and gathering haven for terrorists there for decades. Remember watching the missile strike in that one scene in “Patriot Games”?
