I watched ONLY because it was colorized. But it still sucked.
However, if they colorized all the classic movies and shows they could make a whole bunch of money on them I suspect. I’ll betcha the ratings were off the charts for “I Love Lucy” on Sunday night.
Did they put Lucy in Blackface?

You’d be surprised at the number of classic movies that were originally shot in Technicolor, as early as 1928!
Go on YouTube and search “Golddigers of Broadway 1928” or “Chinese Fantasy” (1929).
That is, if you’re interested in that kind of thing. I’m becoming rather a geek about it.

Color film back then qas like the first few CGI movies. They were prohibitively expensive and only premadonnas got to use it because they knew they would not gwt the money back.

I just edited the first hour and a caller asked about it and Rush declined to elaborate. Some of the theories mentioned in public & private are gaining more and more traction.
I do notice RL morphing into Paul Harvey as he reads entire articles or significant portions of them over the air only to add a meager helping of commentary or, more often than not, running out of time before he’s able to do so. Someone please tell Rush we have the internet as well and have probably already read many of these pieces. We listen for his views, not theirs.
Well, I didn’t say it was GOOD color. Most of the videos of Golddiggers on YouTube are rather poor quality prints.
The dance number in this scene of “Gold Diggers of Broadway” was actually very very good. DWTS has nothing on them.

Any idea of a site like netflix that shows thenold movies, specifically, Laurel and Hardy, Marx Brothers, 3 stooges, little rascals, bowery boys, and Humphrey Bogart (ESPECIALLY, SAM SPADE)?
Just think if those shows were colorized. You could start a new network for them. Alas, I have no idea where you can see them other than YouTube.
