Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday that he will announce his decision about whether to run for president on June 1 in his hometown of Central, S.C., but left little doubt about his intentions by saying Im running.
Im running because of what you see on television, Im running because I think the world is falling apart, Ive been more right than wrong on foreign policy, he said on CBS This Morning, when asked if he was running because he was unimpressed with the rest of the field (and appearing to dispense with the pretense that he hasnt decided whether to jump in). Its not the fault of others, or their lack of this or that that makes me want to run, its my ability in my own mind to be a good commander-in-chief and to make Washington work.
Graham, who is one of the Senates leading national security hawks, would be a longshot in the crowded Republican presidential field but could be influential in pressuring the other contenders on foreign policy issues. In recent weeks, the chances of his running, according to Graham, have gone from 91 percent to 98.6 percent to 99.9 percent. He has also staffed up his exploratory committee.

Good news. The more RINOs the better. We need Christie in the race, too. Together, the two of them may be able to siphon off 1-2% of Bush’s vote. It may make a difference.

He’s not about saving his own money; like any other politician he runs on other people’s money. He’s about drawing money and support away from real conservatives and then either keep it for himself and/or turning it over to the GOPe annointee when he bails out of the race.

That’s pretty funny. It’d be funny to send some to McCain’s offices.
