Nine people have been killed and 18 hospitalized in a shoot-out between rival biker gangs at a recruitment event in a Texas restaurant on Sunday afternoon.
What started as a physical fight in the bathroom spilled out into the bar and rapidly escalated to involve chains, clubs, knives and gunfire across Twin Peaks Bar and Grill in Waco, local media reports.
Diners, including young children, scrambled and many took shelter in the freezer as hundreds of gang members ran rampage around the booths, according to KXXV.

Many of whom were WWII and Korea vets. Bike clubs took off after WWII. Guys who had a lot of back pay plus cheap military surplus bikes made it easy to start a club. Then, as now there are a certain percentage that were into violence and drugs. The rest just wanna ride.

The bikers that I encountered were 99.5% the best people to know and do business with. Opposite of lawyers, the .5% make the rest of bikers look bad.

Yes, the motorcycle gangs are bad news. I prefer to give them a wide berth also.
If I’m a patron of a restaurant that starts filling up with bikers, discretion says time to leave ASAP.
Good thing my wife and I always pay cash. Much easier to throw down cash, leave and not worry about change.

Yeah, but you know I don’t know. I should ask hubby, he’s ridden a motorcycle for ages, but he’s never been in a “club”. He’s had some interaction with the Hell’s Angels and like some one else here said, he’s keen to keep them at arm’s length.

The photos that have been posted, really wouldn’t look much different than a motorcycle gang in 1962.
And of course, 1% means the 1% that are bad guys, criminals, of all those who ride motorcycles.
