Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush believes he can convince conservative primary voters that illegal immigrants should be punishedby being granted a path to amnesty.
In an interview from Liberty University that aired Monday on Fox News, host Megyn Kelly told him, you know that theres a core wing of the party for whom this will be a deal breaker. Bush replied, I dont know that. Ive been traveling over the last three months. I get a sense that a lot of people can be persuaded, to be honest with you, he said.
Polls, though, have shown conservatives in early primary states will not vote for Bush because of his pro-amnesty views.

Jeb, you can kiss my ass.
The more you say the less I care for ya pal.
Sure, fine ‘em a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, take it off of the first few months of benefits. Way to go, Jeb!
Jeb thinks he can grind this out until the end then pull a Romney in the primaries. Until then he’ll collect money.
What gall. Father and son did a lousy job and even if they were great, this is not a Kingdom. It’s a republic. We don’t want dynasties. Go away.
BTW, Gulf War was one thing poppa Bush did right.
Jeb Bush is simply unelectable. However with close to twenty candidates appearing on Republican primary ballots, it is conceivable that a candidate can win a “winner take all” primary with as little as 15% of the vote. The primaries may result in an unelectable nominee.
The primaries may result in an unelectable nominee.
May?
Will, as designed by the RNC, see McCain and Romney, designated losers.
Jeb Bush, what a POS like the rest of the Bush’s.
I’m persuaded to never vote for anyone who wants to surrender the rule of law and the country.
(even if Hillary thanks me/s)
Sorry John Ellis, my sympathies go to all those legal immigrants that are “punished” to follow our laws and procedures to become American citizens while illegal immigrants are rewarded for breaking our laws.
Why is it possible, in this idiot’s way off thinking, that illegals cannot be dealt with on an individual basis to get them out of the country, but can be dealt with on an individual basis to get them citizenship?
The message we send out should be that American citizenship is a prize and a privilege, that it comes with responsibilities, and that it also provides protections. Among those protections is that citizens are protected against those who break our laws, including our immigration laws.
Stay out the BUSHES!
WONDERFUL (/S)
another “magic words” elitist politicials.
He is from the machiaveli/goebles big lie school of campaigns.
The right magic words will fool people.
JBush is just McCain III.
Jeb Bush and/or his folks finally quit emailing me and asking for money after I replied 5 times that I would not support him. The more he says the more he buries himself. I am told his wife has a hard time speaking English. If true that will not help either.
His wife REFUSES to speak English and she has been in the USA for 40 years! She makes her husband and kids speak Spanish!
Jeberish.
