If the government does not like the way that you are raising your kids, they will come in and grab them at any time without giving any warning whatsoever. Of course this is completely and totally unlawful, but it has been happening all over America. The most recent example of this that has made national headlines is particularly egregious. Joe and Nicole Naugler of Breckinridge County, Kentucky just had their 10 children brutally ripped away from them just because the government does not approve of how they are living their lives and how they are educating their young ones. Let’s be very clear about this – Joe and Nicole had done nothing to violate the law whatsoever. All of their kids were happy, healthy and very intelligent. But because the control freaks running things in Kentucky got wind of their “off the grid lifestyle”, they have now had all of their children unlawfully abducted from them.
A lot of my readers also lead “off the grid” lifestyles similar to what the Nauglers had been enjoying. The Nauglers own 26 acres in a remote area of Breckinridge County, and their family has been described as “extremely happy”. But despite never giving them a single warning or a single indication that anything was ever wrong, Kentucky police raided their home on May 6th. The following is how the raid was described on a website dedicated to this case…
On May 6th, 2015, Breckinridge Co. Sheriff’s officers came to their home, acting on an anonymous tip, and entered their property and home without a warrant and without probable cause. Nicole was at home with the two oldest children, while Joe was away with the others. When the officers left the home, they attempted to block the access road to the family property. Nicole and the two boys got in their car to leave the family property. The got only a short way down the road before the officers pulled Nicole over.
During this stop, sheriffs deputies took their two oldest boys from Nicole’s custody, providing her no justification or documentation to support their action. Nicole was able to contact Joe briefly by telephone, but only for a short period of time, because she needed to use her phone to record the events.
At that point, Nicole had been taken into custody for disorderly conduct (for not passively allowing the Sheriff to take her boys) and resisting arrest. Even though she is 5 months pregnant, she was slammed belly first into the cop car and bruised and scraped on both arms.
And people wonder why there is such an uproar about police brutality in this country…
How in the world can a police officer ever justify treating a pregnant woman like that? The police officer that treated Nicole like that should immediately resign. Talk about an utter disgrace. You do not ever treat a pregnant woman like that.
But this is America, where we are turning a little bit more into Nazi Germany every single day.

When Joe arrived on the scene, the police continued to act like Gestapo thugs…
Joe was able to arrange transportation to meet his wife where the stop had taken place. Joe attempted to get out of the car to speak with the officers and his wife, and to recover the vehicle Nicole had been driving. The Sheriff, with his hand on his sidearm, ordered Joe back into the car. Joe complied with that request. The sheriff informed Joe that he had every intention of making this as difficult as possible for them and that their car would be impounded, despite the fact that Joe was there onsite to recover it.
A friend, who had driven Joe to the location, got out of the car to speak with the Sheriff. She was able to convince the Sheriff to let Joe recover the vehicle. Joe also recovered Nicole’s cell phone, which had been recording audio the entire time.
The Sheriff ordered Joe to turn the remaining eight children over to Breckinridge County Sheriff’s deputies by 10:00 a.m., and threatened him with felony charges if he does not comply.
Joe did comply with the Sheriff’s order, and now their kids have been scattered by CPS among families in four separate counties…
As of now, officials have placed the children with four families in four different counties, and as of Friday morning, the parents had not spoken with them. The four families are families that CPS chose – families the Nauglers don’t know.
Shame on you Kentucky. You are supposed to be better than this.
One of the most disturbing elements of this entire incident is that Child Protective Services never visited the Nauglers a single time and never gave them any indication that anything was wrong. The following comes from Off The Grid News…
Child Protective Services never visited the home, said Ellsworth, who believes the arrests took place because of the parents’ choice of “unschooling” for their children, and because of their simple way of life that some would call backwards. The family’s Facebook page calls it a “back to basics life.” They have a garden and raise animals. Deputies apparently were concerned about whether the children’s needs were being met, but friends say they personally have no concerns — and that the children are blessed to have Joe and Nicole as their parents.
How would you like it if government thugs raided your home and took your children away because they considered your lifestyle to be “backwards”?

Like I said earlier, what happened to the Nauglers is not an isolated incident. These kinds of things are happening all over the nation. For example, just consider the abuse that one homeschooling family received in New Jersey…
Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a WND report highlights how parents were interrogated by a CPS caseworker who questioned Christopher Zimmer and his wife Nicole, “on everything from their son’s homeschool education to questions about vaccines and guns in the house.”
Michelle Marchese aggressively demanded to enter the property after asserting Christopher Zimmer Jr. was not getting a “proper education.” Police subsequently arrived and allowed Marchese to enter the home before conducting a warrantless search.
The Zimmers are now suing the CPS for $60 million in a case before the U.S. District Court in Trenton.
I very much hope that the Zimmers win that case and collect a huge monetary award.
All over the nation, CPS officials are running around acting like little dictators and trampling the law. They need the courts to send them a clear message that this is a nation where the rule of law still applies.
If we do not stand with families like the Nauglers, control freak bureaucrats will continue to harass families that have chosen to live a “basic” lifestyle all over the nation. So let’s stand with them and make this case viral all over the Internet.
And Kentucky, get your act together and send those kids back home. You are supposed to be so much better than this.

Yep...I have some real problems as i find more information on this family....did you see the business she opened in Marcch...it’s as modern and beautiful as an new business opening...it’s for grooming animals...I wrote some other info backthread....there’s a scam playing out IMO as the husband got his friend to put up the gofundme sites....she has one as well...and his friend has faked a company saying they’re paying for her business...it’s pretty phony as he claims she’s their first client...so this is smelling pretty bad IMO.
Someone attempted to flush him out and he’s tripping all over himself....
What a scam this is.... this “family friend” Pace Ellsworth claims to be their contact and the owner of CApistan which is funding her new business they began in March....but this couple is his ONLY client and First....he’s some kind of bitcom guy....check out how much money they want...imagine they’ve already grabbed onto 35 grand and growing....
LOL...this is what they want people to give....as I said back thread..this is to garner money so they can finish their new business they began in march and build their place...and looks like people are honing in and will get this for them...what a scam...
$25,000 - Physical materials and upgrades including labor costs to the home including a fence, finishing a new primary living structure, and permanent solutions for clean water and electricity.
$3,000 - Purchase of laptops or phones and other technology aids and a reading library of age-appropriate books for their children.
$15,000 - Purchase of a newer, more reliable 15-passenger van for family transportation.
$2,000 - Possible unforeseen expenses related to the children being kept in the home such as the cost of travel to fight this and time off work from Nicole’s pet grooming business.

These photos don’t look anything like Grapes of Wrath/Great Depression kids in despair and grinding poverty, barely hanging on to life. It wouldn’t be surprising after all that has come out if they were indeed staying with friends or in a more physically secured location.
I’m ambiguous about this but I would point out one issue that strikes me as quite odd and anyone here owns land will see it too
Your letter on that post detailing incriminations against the family states the Deputies noticed a pond on the 26 acres and were disturbed there was no fence around it to protect the children
Well I own land....a fair amount at times ....with ponds
And never ever has anyone insisted I fence a pond for child protection

It is entirely possible to live under camping-type conditions in even the worst weather. I’ve done it and of course so did the Indians and other groups.
But it requires the right equipment, clothing and attention to detail.
They are all Mormons or have been affiliated with Mormon businesses that haven't materialized into anything but 'websites' claiming themselves as Directors etc..at least this Ellsworth does. Like them he's all over the net with various sites. ...the go fund site was done 'by Joe Naugler' the kids father and husband to Nichole Naugler..significant that this was put up last Thursday May 7th 2015...not wasting any time?

I honestly don’t care how they are living...this is a scam and read further to see as I try and pull the rest of this ploy together...even the sheriff scenes were deliberately made by Nichole to play into this...note that it was she that left her phone on...contacted her husband to say it was a go...these are smart cookies playing this game...most crooks are..but not that smart...
I continue to run across other people saying this is a fraud..to not give to this fund because it is just “another” scam as they’ve done before.

First I found it strange she not only taped this encounter with the sheriff...but that ONLY the two older children were there...which likely are aware of this scam. The others were with her husband. Nice timing .....also that no matter how the officer spoke with her she was intent on being defensive...loudly so...

enough these are the demands they want for the funding...which amounts to finishing their business...new home. new van new technology...new library for their kids.
In other words they set this up to generate funds for their businesses...and to expand them.

Well I’m still not convinced all this is above board....the family does believe that people in need need to help those who need help...they do not believe in Welfare nor Government paying for anything in their life.
I have no doubt the mother and father are loving parents to their kids....and likely better then most today. Even so there’s issues they have not come clear on and seem to go way out there in what they believe about life...and it’s more than just living off the grid.
I have a problem with this gofundme thing going on..as well as the recent issue with the father and their neighbor....I do believe that this families hatred for government plays into the heated confrontations they have had now and in the past.
They did belong to the Mormon Church for a time..I haven’t yet discovered why they were kicked out....but they are no longer a part of it much if at all.
Guess we can really only wait and see how this plays out...but she is definatly one who is not going to co-operate with authorites unless they give her what she wants...she is definatly aware of her rights even though she misplaces these at times.
Whatever this comes to...the family IMO..makes it harder for themselves then needs to be and their judgement gets clouded over their intense hatred for government.
The state could have investigated this family for educational neglect in addition to a myriad of suspected crimes perhaps ??
Still doing more work on this...I do think ‘they believe’ what they are doing is the right thing....they are unfortunately going about it the wrong way.
Mormon teaching, as she writes on her blog, seems to have been the perfect church because of their dogma on self sufficinecy...but she also believes people should help when it’s needed and not the government.
So her husband put up the sites for funding..and there are more than one....I’m not sure how this Ellworth guy really plays into this...except his company is bogus in that he has no clients except this family and only this week created the company......
so the money flow will be perfectly acceptable to them since they think people should help them build their house, help them finish their businesses and expand them and buy new electronics and a van for their family.

I think the biggest problem anyone has is if the father did indeed threaten a neighbor with violence while trying to steal water while involving his child. Which apparently he did do that.
I don’t think anyone cares much if they live in a shack or tent, but if you want clean water, you get it installed, you don’t steal it and you don’t threaten your neighbor with violence. ....That is the reason the cops and CFS was called.
If you can’t work hard for your free range lifestyle with out help from churches or friends or family—you are doing it wrong.
From where and how I live, there are a whole bunch of disgusting living conditions going on - ever see government subsidized housing areas? Without a health department certification (fair vs. free wrapping to allow kidnapping the kids) of dangerous conditions, your offense as a reason to allow such actions is a slap against the Constitution. There is no "Noble Cause" clause and there is no "Cater to the prissy sensibilities of others" clause.
That Cabrini-Green mess in Chicago was a good example. Built for low income people, gangs and drug dealers moved in and made a mess of it, got torn down eventually. Calling it a pig sty was actually a complement.

Living off the grid on purpose takes planning to provide pure water and proper cleaning and heat for winter and medical supplies, etc. These two parents have put their children in danger, on purpose. They don’t even have pure water without getting it from someone else. With that many people needing/using water, the father can’t get that much there plus has to get water from neighbors. For that reason alone, those children need to be removed.
You say, “when we are forced to live off the grid”. That is entirely different as these parents have a choice. One can live off the grid and have sanitation and what is required to live, but these parents aren’t doing that. They choose to live in squalor, therefore, the children deserve a change to live and should be removed.
If the entire grid went down, no one has a choice. Millions would die within a month, or two if they are lucky.
I’m prepared to live off the grid and have a safe standard of living and it took planning to put that together. These parents have almost nothing to provide a safe place to live for these children.
You say most people on the planet live this way. We can’t save the world but this country is a Christian country and we can save children from this dangerous circumstance.
I was a counselor/psychological examiner at schools and all mental health workers have to abide by a law that says if we find a child is in danger, we MUST contact officials to save that child. If I knew about these parents and situation, I would be required to go to officials, and I would.
