Defense attorneys representing six Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray filed a motion Friday to have the case dismissed, or for the city’s top prosecutor to be recused from the case and replaced by a special prosecutor, citing alleged conflict of interest.
The attorneys argue in the documents that the officers were victims of an 'overzealous prosecution' by State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, who they claim has personal and political motivations in the case.
Among the alleged conflicts of interest cited, the motion includes Mosby's marriage to the city councilman who represents the district where Gray died.

The acquittal of these guys is going to be a popcorn event for anyone outside of Baltimore.

This ain’t even about justice, it is about who has the poxiest house.
The little girl can and should be prosecuted for false imprisonment and a myriad of other charges.
And I hope the individuals erroneously charged sue everyone in sight.
I don’t see how they can get a fair trial. I don’t think this will be granted, to do so might spark more riots. Even with a new attorney the “jury of their peers” is going to be composed of members of the mob of looters, their family and friends.
Histories most famous capital case, the crucifixion of Jesus, was the result of a a mob serving as jury. I expect about the same outcome here.
Sad, some of the police charged may, in fact, be guilty of some crimes. However the process know underway is not designed to determine that, but rather to serve as part of leftist narrative building.
It will be interesting to see how this is handled.
Special prosecutor and change of venue or better yet, dismissal of all charges. This is George Zimmerman writ large, whereas a long, thorough investigation might have found some real evidence.
I was musing yesterday whether, with the bringing of black people as slaves from Africa to America, were also brought a large amount of voodoo demons. The people died, but the demons kept on living.
Voodoo is known to be dark for a reason. The term comes from a native phrase that means “to arouse resentment.” How cute you say? Well maybe not so cute after all.
Except they have Zimmermanned a racially split group. Before long it could be blacks (who buy into this modern rage) Zimmermanning nobody but other blacks.
It’s pretty frequent that once a case like this is examined, criminal charges do not stick but civil ones either still do or are settled. This is for a reason; the standards of proof are different. The folks howling for a lynching might not be so happy with the concept when it comes sailing their way.
Zimmerman is one quarter black.

I’d wager that a number of cities with have “sympathy pains” and Baltimore won’t be the only place burning - you can feel the electricity as they “progress’ from Ferguson and build up steam for the “clash of all clashes”. They want some Whites to kill some of them while defending themselves and/or their property so they can turn the gasoline hoses to full force.

When this case is dismissed Baltimore and its suburbs will go up in flames. watch for riots in Ferguson, Mo, Chicago, Illinois and major cities where Odumb@## has decided and increased the rabble. Just watch there will be no 2016 election as the US will be under marital law by Summer 2015. Odumb@$$ will be the Dictator and ISIS will be here as his enforcement Army.

Why do you think that he is wanting to bring them over here? The ones he doesn't fly directly here, he will fly to Mexico and they will cross the border into Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California. Do you recall two, actually three, of his statements before the voters ordained him as their god? These are partial quotes of his, not the entire quote of his actual comments, not the comment :1. In 5 days, I will fundamentally transform the United States. 2. We[I] need a force that is just as well funded as the military. 3. The Constitution is a flawed document. Knowing all this and more about him, the people [voters] till said, via their votes, We want this man as our god! we want him to lead us to the promise land! We will worship the ground he walks upon! And so, here we are.
